I wish Ricky the best of luck going without Warren. Prime example of a Baby spitting its dummy out and crying over spilt milk!
Why does he not put Zab Judah on doing the "Brooklyn Walk" against Kostya Tszyu in Fwanks build up to Mayweather Vs Judah
Patathic! .......the Fan's watch Ricky Hatton, not Warren and that's a Big "Two Fingers" up at him Ricky doing it his way

.....fair play to Hatton!

Hope it was a wise move and not one that will mess his career up though as Warren is a good promotor.

Yes there is no question Warren is a good promoter, he's very good at what he does.
I think Ricky will do ok for himself without Warren, he knows were he wants to go and seems to be going in that direction. He's chasing Mayweather I believe and as long as both remain unbeaten, I think it will happen sometime. So why not get the WBA title at that weight regardless of who hold its he can bring that to the table for some amazing fights at Welterweight. The belts may not be what they used to be, but the Boxers still like them and being a WBA title as well.
I don't like to see a hard working Boxer like Hatton, getting sour grapes at him every chance Warren gets, all because he wants to do it his way.
There are some very good fights out there for Hatton and I think Hatton will get them quicker this way, than what Warren can. Hatton has to strike while the Iron is hot with his style of fighting and age.

Putting a video up of Collazo getting KO'd is just unbelievably pathetic. He should be ashamed of himself. Never seen anyone so bitter.

Will SN ever let it drop?
I can understand them being mightily pissed off with Hatton but in reagrds to how they have handled it...Well they passed the realms of professionalism a long time ago.

It is a strange world boxing isn't it?
Can you imagine Arsene Wenger putting up videos of Patrick Viera cocking up on the Arsenal website?

Bit of a sad move by SN that - Frank should try and show a bit more dignity than resorting to cheap shots like that.
Wonder how much he'll have to pay for the copyright to post that video up? ALOT I hope.
Be interesting to see who the undefeated wonder boy they line up for Harrison is now, what with their new high standards and all.

Yeah, not too sure that Calzaghe and Harrison will be too happy being upstaged by Hatton on SN website.

Pathetic.
Even funnier that they are 'lining it up', can't even get a clip up on the SN site but advertise it as 'coming'. Shambolic.

What a bunch of tossers SportsNetwork are

. It's surely time Boxrec introduced a Wanker Emoticon, purpose designed for Warren.

He isn't so bitter that he has lost all sense of commercial awareness...
They are still peddling the Hitman complilation dvd in the SN on line 'store'.
Thats it Frank, squeeze every last penny you can out of the Hitman brand.

hmmmmm, can they stoop any lower.... they already advertise strip joints at their shows and on their website...... (many people think Spearmint offers more than just dancing)
What next prostitutes pinning their cards on the ring posts at SN shows now they cannot do it in phon boxes

Terence wrote:Its simple for Frank. He says he made Hatton rich and made him what he is. If so dip into that formula and produce another guy like Hatton who sells out show after show and gets good national press. Easy peasey Frank just make another Hatton as it was all down to you.
take amir khan out of the equation cos he was a big name before sports network signed him.
what ya got frank.

Aww man did you hear the guys laughing at Collazo?
Shitty stoppage that.

Collazo looks very good, better than I imagined. Excellent speed and great combinations, but nothing on those punches though. Can't seem him hurting Hatton at all, but those sharp punches could well cut him and keep him thinking.
He looked small in that vid, but maybe cause the other guy was huge? I'd guess him and Hatton will be roughly the same size...
Stopage was so so...he did look hurt, and was stumbling after - but the Colmbian looked a real heavy hitter: big leverage in those shots , and I thought Collazo showed a good chin to take a few of those before the final three or four that put him in trouble.
I doubt Hatton will get to him early like that. Winning the world title will have made the American an even better fighter you'd think.

Well he was fighting at Light Middle with a naturally bigger guy.

Boxing is a business and so many fighters have their dreams played with, teased with and often smashed.
Promoters drop fighters and a bit of vice-versa can be quite refreshing.
Mind you, I can envisage Hatton has a merry sing-song on his nights out at the weekend (money earned getting clumps to the head, not making phonecalls).
I hear he's partial to this one in particular on the old karaoke...
...Aha mhmm gonna get along without you now
aha mhmm I’m gonna get along without you now
got along without you before I met you
gonna get along without you now
thought I’d find somebody who was twice as cute
`cos I didn’t like you anyhow
you told everybody that we were friends
but this is where our friendship ends
`cos all of a sudden you changed your tune
you haven’t been around since way last june
aa-ha-oo-hoo gonna get along without you now
I got along without you before I met you
gonna get along without you now
so long my honey
goodbye my dear
gonna get along without you now...
