He can win the British title, and Commonwealth championship but no futher.

He might even upset the veteran Oboh, who has been very inactive. If Oboh has a couple of fights under his belt, I would tip him to retain... But he could win vacant titles if and when Oboh reliqushes.

Haymer is a lovely bloke and i like the way he has got his career back on track after those two losses to King.

I think he has a good chance against Oboh, those wheels must be ready to fall off now.

Like i say, both lovely guys.... shame someone has to lose

British title at best.

He reminds me a lot of Mark Hobson, a solid all-rounder who'll get exposed at European level, put to sleep at world level.

Haye knocking him out isn't exactly a revelation, nice to see nevertheless.

I use to go to school with Peter and he only got into Boxing at around 15-16.

Is that considered a late starter?

A British title is well within Haymer's capabilities. He might need a couple of attempts, but it's entirely possible.

He really should be next in line for a British title shot. I can't think of a more deserving challenger at Light Heavyweight.
