Bill 'Shocker' Bowman

Does anyone have any information about a boxer from the 1930-40's named Bill 'Shocker' Bowman, I recently met a relative of his who was asking about the boxers record. Its in the database as 2 losses to Jock McAvoy. Does anyone know of more fights he had or any other information?
