Ex Southampton, Man Utd and England player Danny Wallace is walking the London Marathon , Danny suffers from Multiple Sclerosis, this has severe affects on his mobility and causes Fatigue ,Pins and needles in both hands and feet, Severe back pain down the right hand side.

He was joined on his marathon effort yesterday by Michael Watson , it was him who inspired Danny to take up the challenge this year. Also Frank Maloney was there walking amongst the traffic with a bucket to collect money for the MS appeal.

Danny is also being sponsered by BBN, BBE amongst others,
Its nice to see the good side of people involved in Boxing.
Danny hopes to complete his huge challenge on Saturday, best of luck to him.
Here is a link to his website, you can make a donation to the Danny Wallace Foundation there.

That's a nice story, Michael Watson's struggles against his own disability are a real inspiration, as this story proves.

I guess it must be his legs which are affected then, because he looks like he was actually hitting the pads. What a horrible condition to have, and it must be even worse when you've led such a physical life and been a pro athlete.

Just heard from Team Wallace and they have decided to do some extra miles tonight and should finish on the Mall tomorrow (Friday 28th) at 5pm.

Michael Watson will be on hand to present the Marathon medal to Danny.
