Hatton ought to be above Calzaghe. And Haye seems to me a bit low. I'd also have Froch and Skelton a bit higher.

But what this list shows is that there is quite some depth talent-wise in British boxing at this juncture.

If Hatton beats Collazzo he will go to the top, Froch has a chance to climb rapidly later this month when he fights Brian Magee and Skelton also has a chance to climb rapidly when he fights Williams in July.

Thats a pretty good list... The top ten has similar names to what I have got... Here is who I think you have a little wrong.

Robin Reid = Too High.

Brian Magee = Too High.

Graham Earl = Too Low.

Danny Williams = Fraction too low.

Howard Eastman = Fraction too high.

But all in all that's a damn fine attempt - it would take me an age to think of a P4P top 30 - the top ten is hard enough.

Danny Williams with his recent 2 wins needs to be in about 11 or 12 there, otherwise I think it is a good list.

Where should I have put Robin Reid?

Maybe I am giving him too much credit for being a former World Champion, because there are not many of them on the list.

From those in your list I would definately have.

Danny Williams, Pickering, Jamie Moore, Wayne Alexander, Scott Dann, Ricky Burns and Graham Earl ahead of him.

I personally had him losing both bouts on my scorecards, and he has previously failed at European and World level, so I would find it hard to justify a higher ranking on my list, unless he wins the European Championship or beats a World class fighter.

Thanks for the feedback, but I feel he has done more to justify his place than those fighters at the present time, i.e he has a win over Brian Magee and recently fought for a World Title.

Think the Ramanov victory (for Earl) was every bit as good as Magee.

Earl lost to Burns.

I don't think Pickering should be ranked too far below Hunter, long reigning European champion.

The rest is more open to debate, but I think the manner of the Reid defeat should be taken into account.

Is there any chance of you doing a list?

I have the top ten up on the site (sticky) will try and do something for this thread - will be a while though and will probably be poor... Yours is good, I'm just being picky.

Pound 4 Pound.
1. Joe Calzaghe
2. Ricky Hatton
3. Clinton Woods
4. Scott Harrison
5. Johnny Nelson
6. Damean Kelly
7. Junior Witter
8. Carl Thompson
9. Nicky Cook
10.Danny Williams

11. Alex Arthur
12. David Haye
13. Wayne McCullough
14. Michael Hunter
15. Howard Eastman
16. Esham Pickering.
17. Ricky Burns
18. Graham Earl
19. Scott Dann
20 Robin Reid - seconds thoughts I don't put all I mentioned above him.

21. Eamonn Magee - win over Tak and he'll move above a fair few.
22. Brian Magee
23. Jamie Moore
24 Carl Froch
25 Wayne Alexander
26. Enzo Maccrinelli.
27. Matt Skelton
28. Richard Williams
29. Martin Power
30. Mark Hobson.

Unlucky Fighters.
Kevin Anderson, Young Mutley, Craig Docherty, Jason Booth (retired?), Ian Napa (needs to get some luck with decisions), Peter Oboh (would be there if wasn't so inactive), Steve Conway (more wins like his last two and he'll be there).

Witter is the best brit boxer IMO. Obviously Hatton's win over Tszyu gives him more attention but I believe Witter would also have beaten that Tszyu and Kotelnik and Ndou would beat anyone on Hattons record and give that Tszyu a hard time. kotelnik would beat him and I'd give Ndou a good chance.

Top 10 Poorest Brits...

1. Ricky Hatton (Fought 39 bums and then picked an old Tszyu. Has recently gone back to fighting bums. Would love to see him leave the ring with an oxygen mask on his face. Only knows one way to box as he showed y making hard work of Maussa)

2. Scott Harrison (Got a gift vs Polo and has had some dismal affairs. A robotic fighter who can't take good body shots. Messed Guzman around bigtime)

3. Audley Harrison (Absolutely poor)

4. Danny Williams (A fat bastard)

5. Alex Arthur (Ordinary fighter got a superb hiding vs Gomez which has shut him up. Should be Ko'd again if he ever steps up).

6. Mark Hobson (A lousy fighter. His manager went on the internet talking bollocks and quickly shut his trap after hobson got beaten by a gummy bear which leads me to my next boxer)

7. Enzo Macaroni (Can't box at all and beat nothing in Hobson. A genuinely dreadful operator who feasts on bums with stiffs on top)

8. Joe Calzaghe (Would be taken out by any elite fighter. Roy/Hopkins/Tarver etc would all have destroyed the overhyped Lacy)

9. Graham Earl (Robbed Vanzie of his title and ran like a theif. Has no respect in britain after his robberies. At least be a MAN and own up)

10. Brian Magee (A complete joke).

Ricky Burns is the one where I don't feel comfortable with.. The Ramanov win for Earl (plus him close to cleaning up domestic) means you really have to rank Earl in the top twenty.... but Burns won so comprehensively I think you must rank Burns ahead, but then it was only an 8 rounder.

I don't think a fighter who is 1-1 with domestic title class opposition (albeit the two best around his weight devision) would normally warrant a top 20 placing... but then he dominated Earl which made me think you have to have him that high.

Strangley, I do have him slightly BELOW Docherty in the Super Feather rankings, because at least Docherty held a domestic title and came within a whisker to adding European honours (closer than Burns, albeit against a poorer champion than Burns faced) - but I felt that his resume alone wasn't quite worthy of a P4P list... Quite odd mathematics I know.

Actually I think Calzaghe deserves his spot, aside from Hatton's win over Tszyu, Calzaghe has by far the better competition than Hatton, whose next best opponent was Ben Tackiem then Vince Phillips. All in all not a bad list though.

Could someone ban this pudendum.

You'd like to see Ricky leave with an oxygen mask on his face would you?

I'd love to watch you piss down the back of your legs after taking a shot to the ribs from Ricky.

You're a disgusting human being.

That Ricky Hatton comment is despicable even for his low standards.

Just out of interest why does everyone have Haye significantly higher than froch?

I would understand him being a couple of places higher on the European title alone, however with the loss to Thompson and the fact that many of his opponents have been well chosen, as oppose to froch who has fought a good level of opponents throughout his carrer. Any thoughts.

Calzaghe is godlike so I agree with No 1. :TU:

Livra's a joke man!

He predicted Lacy to KO Calzaghe and was saying he couldn't wait to get back here to laugh about it! I would of loved to see the look on your face after seeing how easily Lacy was battered.

Predicted Tszyu to KO Hatton as well then ran when Tszyu lost!

I think Livra just hates British fighters for some reason.

Remember the thread I started telling everyone to ignore Lirva33 a few months a go - no one listens to me  Hes a joke but if you rise to him he'll keep coming back, if everyone ignores him he'll go away.

I've been labelled a Hatton hater on here too but I try to remain impartial Lirvas just obsessed. Still I think Collazo could upset Hatton Boston Tea Party.
