Boxrec has Green down as Calzaghe's opponent for 8 June in Cardiff.

Yeah Danny would have been a good option had he not been otherwise engaged with Mundine. Maybe a bit too soon for this guy, could Allen be a bit too Green? :P

Green has a BIG mouth, so it'll be fun watching Joe bring him down to earth with a crash.
At least he's an undefeated, confident up & comer - who can box AND punch. And if you're not fighting another ( reluctant ) title holder at SM, there's not much else out there.
HBO wanted an American apparently....while this is on free TV in the UK, the Americans have to pay to watch Joe take another of their bright hopes to school - as pay back for all those years of doubt
I might go along for this one...

I think it is a good fight.
Green is young, fit, unbeaten, terrific puncher with an even biggger mouth.
Better than Lacy IMO (look at my posts pre Cal vs Lacy)
Thing is, Green thinks he is Julian Jackson, with the mouth of Ali.
Joe will shut it.
Its a good match, if you dont like it, dont watch it.

I never even heard of that guy Ottke fought anyway. He's probably not as good as Lacy was!

why didn't kessler lower his demands then.
the 2 camps have had negotiations and they fell thru over money. kessler wants to be well paid for the risk and that's why were not seeing it.
stop sticking up for kessler and accept his next opponent is a bigger crock of shit than allan green.
