Seems Corley has done anything special lately except for losing his best fights.

So would you give Witter a good chance to win?

If weight drained Cotto can stop him I reckon Witter wins this.

Weight drained Cotto was lucky, he was almost sparked out by Corley, and he definetly had a sympathetic ref who jumped on Corley a bit too early for my liking.

Goto give Witter the edge but he needs to be allot better than his previous 2 because Corley will take a decision otherwise. If Witter screws this 1 up he won't get another title shot.

The Corley stoppage was premature and Cotto was throwing everything at him and throwing straight, loaded up haymakers won't land against corley. A controled offense would be good to see and the cutting out of switch upon switch upon switch

The stoppage in the Cotto fight was early but Corely looked beat to me. Weight drained or not, Cotto is still one of the best in the division and say what you will about the Torres and Corely fights he came through rough spells to look the better fighter.

Will be interesting to see which Witter we get in this fight, the one who plants his feet and throws bombs trying to get people out of there early, which hasn't worked of late and also tires himself out quickly. Or the more defense minded boxer of old?

Never seen Courly fight whats his style like, also how has he done in the past against southpaws (not that its the same as a switch hitter but it shows that his rytholm may be adaptable).

He lost an SD against Judah, which means it was obviously close (didnt see it). If he can handle a Judah beating Witter is possible. And a switch hitter is not really different to a southpaw it just means he switches orthodox to southpaw. Witters not exactly proficient as a southpaw anyway though as he tends to resort to just throwing a right hook

yeh but with fighting switch hitters particularly witter one of the main issues is the irregular rythem and angles which the shots come from was my point.

Witter is on the slide if his last few fights are anything to go by. His best bet is try and turn it into a slugfest and trade, but Corley can punch a bit himself so it really could go either way. I just about favour Corley on points.

Corley is sparring partner for #1 p4p PBF so he's sharp and would certainly KO the one dimensional Hatton (Watch the Maussa fight).

Hope witter is bookies favourite because my money will be piled on chop chop. Witter has been very very poor recently and i just dont see him doing anything chop chop wont be expecting, couple of rounds of switch hitting before gassing and stumbling to loosing a ud.

Will Witter want to fight Corley, Hatton has vacated the IBF & WBA titles & Witter is ranked highly in both of these, will he go another route than fighting for the WBC ????

i dont have a link but i have an interview with hatton from the time that the tszyu fight had just been scheduled saying something to the effect of "over the past 12 months boxing had really got me down, i'd had fights with kelson pinto, sharmba mitchell and demarcus corley all fall through, and i thought if i cant land those fights what chance have i got at landing a fight with the undisputed champion"
