Although De La Hoya appears to be nearing the end of his career he seems to be fired up for this on like he was against Vargas and we all know what happened in that fight.
This is a tough fight but I feel the Golden Boy has the skills to win this on points.

I see it this way too, class tells and De La Hoya is an elite fighter.

De la Hoya looks in very good shape - Looks like his camp has had him working hard.
He should have the skills to keep Mayorga at bay.

DLH on points comfortably.
It may even be stopped late with Mayorga's face all busted up.
DLH is past it but should have too much class for a guy who makes Mustafa Hamsho look like Ken Buchanan

Sky Sports have this listed on their website for 2 AM tonight on Sky Sports 1 but it's not in any of the papers or tv mags
They better not be lying.

actually KILBURN sees it for mayorga not de la hoya. and i agree with this.
ricardo stops the golden boy around 7
can anyone tell me why oscar is holding in his stomach in those shots?????

Its a strange one, I don't know the answer - lots of fighters do it though.

I don;t have SKY so can't watch the fight, but i'm going for DLH to Kayo Mayorga somewhen between 6-8 rounds.

Great result for DLH.
DLH showed a fantastic chin to take that uppercut in the third though, I thought that had KO written all over it and probably would of KOed most other fighters in the division.

Well I don't have that much luck, went to the horseraces at Goodwood yesterday, didn't win a penny.
Think i'll stick to predicting boxing.
Last night i was going on the fact that DLH is very accurate with his punches and Mayorga is to wild and takes to many punches.
