Treading water until a fight can be made with Tarver is my feeling, though I think this is a risky proposition if so, as Tarver fannies around more than he fights these days.

I'm so frustrated with JC's career.

For years, his career has stagnated & now the world finally knows how good he is, he's still practically in limbo! :x

I know Calzaghe has tremendous ability, but it's difficult to champion him when he doesn't fight anybody!

Interesting playing that sportdaq game, that boxers are virtual nonentities, Calzaghe and Hatton both pulled off incredible performances, and yet both are hardly hot potatoes on the game. Hatton's fight is virtually invisible to most people, and a lot of people have already forgotten about Calzaghe. Great shame.

He is finally hot in the USA, he is coming off a career best win, he's had enough duff fights to last us all a lifetime and now he is fighting in Wales versus TBA (who I'm smug enough to admit I predicted would get the fight). C'mon Joe take a leaf from Ricky and get on a plane to kick some arse. No matter who we beat the P4P cert US fighters won't come over here.

Shit he could even fight Kessler.
even if he got on a plane, there'd be nobody to fight, all the prospective guys are fighting each other. JC must be foaming at the mouth for Tarver, who hates fighting at a pace. I remember Tarver getting backed up and totally broken down by Harding, a real light hitter. When Calzaghe was spanking Lacy, I thought to myself 'i hope he doesn't test positive for steroids'; it was amazing how fit he was.

SN see to be so frigging slow & cautious. it's like they don't mind keeping us waiting. deliver xx many poor shows and then set up an excellent one

I'd love to see Tarver's big mouth get shut - even more definitively than the Harding I fight. he's a bit of a Vernon Forrest (esp vs mosley II) who seems to want to prevent the other guy from winning instead of asserting himself.

Where are you??

The brews have been made ... the odd jobs have been done ... the lawn has been cut ... you have finished crying from your daily bollockings ...

Surely you of all people could tell us what mega fight Joe Calzaghe is in ... after all thats what was promised after the Lacy fight wasn't it??

Taking an example from Hatton will hardly do much for his value. I get the feeling Hatton will become less of a name the way he's going at the moment.
