Does anyone know details of the two world title bouts between Lynch and Kane. I would think it was one of the greatest matchups in UK boxing history. Coming into there first bout, Kane was the little man with the big punch (41-0 32 ko's) but Lynch won by a 13th round ko, while the second bout ended in a draw. The second bout was held at Anfield Rd, which I assume means there was a pretty good crowd, but was Shawfield Park in Glasgow an outdoor venue ?

I have this book, but it's with a guy in the US at the minute. It's not the greatest piece of literature you'll ever read but it's as good a resource on all things Lynch as I've found, including fights.

Thanks, I found some info on the first fight. There was a 40.000 crowd at Shawfield Park. Lynch knocked Kane down in the first, and almost stopped him, but Kane came back strong and rocked Lynch in the 2nd round. Through 9 rounds they fought on pretty even terms, but Lynch took over in the 10th. He dropped Kane twice more in the 12th, and for the count in the 13th.

I'd like to know some details of there drawn bout though.
