Anyone know who won the Daws vs. Wright and the Meager vs. ____(forget his name) fights?

Daws won 117-111, I'm gutted as I'm a Wright fan.

Didn't see the fight, but apparently Daws had the upper hand (as you'd expect from the points)

Meager is fighting Dave Stewart for the vacant British lightweight title, but don't know how that's went. Off to bed now anyway, as need sleep to prepare for the Hatton fight.

Meager won - stoppage in the 6th, good stoppage. Didn't see it all - but Meager was on top when I came home from work.

Incidently, anybody else see a resemblemse between Meager and Mickey Cantwell in appearance.

Great punch up with Stewart looking on top for the first couple of rounds and really hurting Meager a few times. However Meager decked Stewart in round 4 and was from then on top. He went through the gears again in round 6 and battered Stewart relentlessly until the ref stepped in. Stewart was on his feet, but didn't complain and looked well beaten. His right eye was also badly cut. :TU:

Meager/Stewart by far the better fight - Daws/Wright, too much holding - Wright started well but Daws took over and Wright never got another look in - Stewart looked good and his jab was excellent - Meager seemed the stronger fighter and after dropping Stewart in round 4 he took control - The ref stopped the bout in round 6 with no complaints from Stewart who knew he had been beaten - Great to watch with both fighters giving it their all - Another York Hall classic!
