Is it true that Haymer pulled out of a fight with Oboh for the British and Commonwealth titles?

I bumped into him the other day in a bar in Farringdon and had a good chat - good guy .

He wanted the fight 0 but can you imaging how bad the money would have been?.

Had a chat about Andrew Lowe and the fact he did not get paid much and Oboh is dangerous!.

Whatever he does - good luck to him...

Good guy and his girlfriend seem very nice also..

Go Haymer!!!!

Haymer looks to be a solid boxer...good that he'scoring some KOs now, he needs more of them against bums if he wants to be looked at by some of the more respectable TV networks in the near future.

Also, why hasnt he avenged his 2 losses to Nathan King yet? King is still active and is on the slide, right now would be the time to beat the only man that beat him and wipe his slate clean. Otherwise we'll see another Haye-Thompson situation develope...I say just bite the bullet and shell over the dough.

Haymer seems to be progressing as a fighter, he is getting KOs now, yes they are against bums but before he was merely outpointing them. Let him have a few more so he can get a streak going, avenging his losses against King at the same time would be the perfect thing to do.

It'll be time for him to step up in ten months or so imo.

Sorry to turn this round from Haymer to Oboh, but I cannot believe the total lack of avenues Oboh is being given due (apparently) to a hell of a lot of touted opponents pulling out (or not putting themselves in, in the first place) due to Oboh being such a tricky opponent.

I have to say I'd give the bbbofc some credit for allowing Oboh to hold on to his belts, as it seems that the majority of the time, he has not been at fault for defences falling through.

And so it's maybe understandable, but very sad nevertheless, if, as Kevin says, Oboh has had to give up (at least) the Comm belt.

It appears that the Commonwealth title is still vacant.
