Personally I think that as Drews is a top ten figther and Kurzawa a top twenty fighter, Drews will have a little too much experience against better comp. Also, Drews is 6'5" tall and a southpaw, so he'll be very hard to catch for the 6'1" Kurzawa...Drews has excellent boxing skills to boot.

Drews to win for my money, Kurzawa has repeatedly looked slow and lethargic like a lighter Egon Roth. He was comprehensively outboxed by Lolenga Mock and won an embarrassing decision, Drews on the other hand is a bit of a dirty fighter (low blows cost him versus Briggs) but is tall, awkward and can box a bit. I back Stipe on points

Drews is terrible imo, watched a few of his fights and they have been real snoozers.

Not surprised Drews is dirty, good win though over Kurzawa.

The scores were: 119-108, 118-109, 117-110. Drews was close to Knockout Kursawa in round 4.

he is twice as bad as Ruiz at the hit and grab tactic... he gets away with it because he fights on his own promoters cards and the only time someone else got on top he started fouling like a little bitch...

The referee saturday wasnt a "home referee". IMO he was way too much after Drews, and it was the ref that saved Kursawa from being Koed by breaking them up when there was nothing wrong.

I agree, he is pathetic, i wouldnt watch one of his fights again, well maybe... But only if i couldnt sleep. His record is a total bluff of his real skill, he wont fight no one decent and when or if he does he will be beaten imo.

What are you talking about...the refs took points off Drews in both of his last fights, and Kurzawa is also a German based fighter.

what did i write? i believe i said "he fights on his own promoters card" which is TRUE, end of story.....

So the ref took points off, so what, he took points off knowing it would have no effect on the overall outcome of the fight.....

Ruiz, Barney, Drews.... all the same.... hit and grab...

Sorry Freheit... i didnt see Saturdays fight, so i bow to your better knowledge, I was talking from a GENERAL point of view... Drews gets away with FAR too much holding in most of his fights..

You said "he gets away with it" and the fact is he does not. He was both warned and deducted points against Kurzawa and Brancalion for fouls...and it had no effect on the outcome because Drews virtually shut them both out.

getting a point taken off is getting away with it in my opinion...
for persistant holding you should be thrown out :-)
