But perhaps like with Howard, theres not much else in the bottle. I was thinking myself that there is a stylistic simularity... though at his best Howard was a better defensively than Froch is now...

Both are promoted by Hennesy, he should set up a Froch V Eastman bout.

No comparison Paul.

Howard is in a differnet league to Froch. Howard is a much better all round fighter.

My tip to Frank Maloney is get Anthony Small ( who is the best prospct in GB) some sparring with Eastman.

Froch is very good but he needs a better coach, as does Hatton

Froch is calling Calzaghe out now, he must have a death wish.

Small as Britains best prospect? Brave call. He's entertaining, certainly, but I see him being chinned before too long. Hope I'm wrong though.

As for Froch, he needs to learn to listen to his coach, no matter who that may be. I don't think it'd make a blind bit of difference who he had in his corner, he's still going to be doing the same thing. As for Hatton dumping Graham, not sure about that. He's done well with him, and I don't know if Hatton can add too much to his game, regardless of who he works with.

Take it from me, Carl is just getting away with things against less than stellar opponents cos he has power.

Technically he ain't good.

I mean more in terms that both are lazy and won't go up the gears... and Anthony Small better than Amir Khan? yeah, right... Small will be KO'd as soon as he's in with a puncher with a half decent chin... he's a fraud...

Youcould say the same about Khan except that guy wasn't a puncher luckily.

IMO Small is a better fighter than Khan, who is easy to hit.

He has a lot more to offer than Small though, who is hardly elusive, and doesn't have anything like the speed and accuracy of Khan. Small has yet to fight anyone who can test him. The same test can be levelled at Khan of course, but Small strikes me as nothing special,although I hope I'm wrong. But I don't think he can be considered world class in any department, unlike Khan. Small should remember that it's alright fighting like Roy Jones, as long as you ARE Roy Jones.

Sorry, but I can't consider Small as the best prospect out of this country. Obviously, if I'm wrong, I'll hold my hands up. In fact, I hope I have to, because I like Small. But I see nothing that special there.

Well at the very least he's a character!... which is something... personally I think he is a good talent... only time will tell how far he is going though...

Thing about Khan is, he fights off pure talent and I'd question whether he actually thinks what he's doing.

Against someone as good, that may come to haunt him.

Well nobody is born with a boxing brain, Khan is learning all the time.

Thats the problem I dont think He is. Hes in to deep to change, and Im not sure if he can. Reminds me of the same problem Errol Christie had, we,ll see.
