Not seen much of Power, but from what I see, he looks good. Don't know anything about Ward.

Is it true Power dislikes northerners? I could be wrong, but I'm sure I heard that. If so, I hope he loses of course.

Can pick this one, never seen Ward.... Shame his recent fight (on the undercard of Hunter vs Guertos.

Seen most of Ward's fights. Game as a pebble but gets hit a bit too often. Excellent fitness levels, can be relentless. His sparring partners say he is quite heavy handed but is record says different.

Maloney released some press release with Power saying "There's no way I'm going to let a northener take my title" (memories of Minter!) but I'm pretty sure it was made up.

Power to win by KO.. Power will be to much for Ward in every department...

Don't think Power has the...erm...power to stop Argy with heavy shots - if he does, it will be cumulative rather than concussive.

Would have to go with a points win for Power but it might very well be tougher than most people think.

By the way, there's absolutely no way on this planet Ward should be 8/1 (as he is with Skybet).

i have with martin in his last fight his slow not to strong he aitn aint smart fighter he just want A war martin will outsmart him out power him and out speed him

I haven't seen Ward at all, but surely as Ian says it will have to be a culmation of shots or a compassionate corner that prevents this going to the distance.... If Power wins by a clean KO then there has to be question marks over Wards chin... cause its certainly NOT a case of Power by name, Power by nature.

i'VE SEEN WARD BOX A COUPLE OF TIMES HE'S VERY 1 DIMENSIONAL ONE TOO.. ONE TOO LEFT HOOK.. AND THATS IT ! WARD ALSO HAS NOT BEEN MORE THAN 8 ROUNDS I THINK THIS WILL BE A GOOD WIN FOR POWER..

I don't want to start giving tips off which people's lively hoods depend, but imo the power points win is pretty good value, especially considering he is 1/20 outright in a place. I've had a nibble on betfair, and it's now available at 5/4ish, which is pretty damn good imo.

martin showed all his power as he beat issac ward easily
ask issac if he has the power lol

A good win for Power, he was clearly a class above Ward with stylish moves and punches.

Ward gave it all he had but was in with a better fighter.
Great to watch.

Thought Power looked very good last night. Ward may not be in the top tier of British fighters, but he's no mug, and Power handled him well. Still think he gets hit a bit too much, mind. Ward caught him clean more than once, and if he possessed a bit more of a dig it could have been interesting. Still, good showing from Power.

Good, entertaining show overall, to be fair. Great to have some midweek British action.

I was really impressed with Power last night, he looked much improved from the Robinson and Napa fights. Does anyone know why there was 6 months between his fight with Napa and this latest outing? Surely a guy on the way up like Power should be kept busy?

yeah martin injured his back in training a couple weeks before the fight so he wasnt fit

Fair enough. I hope they keep him busy he's certainly a crowd pleaser and good to watch!

Ward was exactly as I expected...but Power was miles better. Fair play to him - outclassed.

I've written a big bloody report for BBN on my laptop but for some reason can't transfer it...!!!
