Veit entering first since he is the challenger for the WBC Intl belt. His entrence is Thunderstruck by AC/DC. His trainer is Fritz Sdunek (Zsolt Erdei, Alexander Dimitrenko, Karoly Balzsay, Goran Gogic, Sinan Samil Sam, Koren Gevor, Mahamat Abdulaev, Alexander Alekseev, Denis Boytsov, Ertrugul Ergezen, Sebastian Zbik (and used to train: Dariusz Michalczewski, Ralf Rocchigiani, Artur Grigorian, Juan Carlos Gomez, Istvan Kovacs, Ahmed Kotiev, Michael Löwe, Wladimir und Vitali Klitschko))

Brähmer is entering to some horrible "music". His trainer is Michael Timm (Felix Sturm, Sergej Dzindziruk, Ruslan Chagaev, Juan Carlos Gomez, Alexander Petkovic, Stipe Drews, Thomas Ulrich, Jürgen Brähmer, Andreas Kotelnik, Wladimir Sidorenko, Julia Sahin, Dieter Roth, Egon Roth, Mark Hemden, Lukas Wilaschek, Marco Cattikas, Maurice Weber, Willy Blain, Ina Menzer)

Round 1

Starting out slow. Veit is 11cm taller.
Both trying to "measure" their jab.

Brähmer lands a 1-2 combo, first powerpunch landed in the fight.

Veit got the middle of the ring.

Veit down with a few seconds to go in the round, doesnt look hurt. It was a straight left that did it (southpaw)

10-8 Brähmer

Round 2

Veit still got the middle of the ring.

Still not that much action.

Brähmer slips a few punches.

Very close round. Ill give it 10-9 to Veit

19-18 Brähmer

Round 3

Veit still the one that have the middle of the ring.

Brähmer trying to land power punches on the counter.

Its clear to see that this fight is very important for both, the loser will probably be without a Universum contract.

Again very close round, Im giving it to Brähmer this time.

29-27 Brähmer.

Round 4

Veit is getting 300.000 euros for this fight, Brähmer is getting 400.000.

Round is like the other two. They both have huge respect for each other. I guess they have sparred a lot against each other so that they know each other will.

Very close round, 10-9 Brähmer

39-36 Brähmer

Round 5

Veit lands a good straight right.

Veit still have the middle of the ring with Brähmer circling around him, doing some 1-2s.

Bodywork really been a non-issue in this fight.

Veit's best round. 10-9 Veit

48-46 Brähmer

I think Brahmer left his prime back in prison, sadly.

Round 6

Veit trying to corner Brähmer, but he escapes.

Brähmer really not during enough, wonder if he is saving his stamina for the later rounds so that he wont get a scare like he did in the Thysse fight.

Round for Veit

57-56 Brähmer

Commentators says Erdei will fight Ulrich next (In july I think it was)

Round 7

Online voters have the same score as me (3 rounds for each + knockdown)

Veit getting more confidence in the fight.

Brähmer needs to be more active

Close round for Veit

67-67

Well, whatever happens now (going by Freiheit's usually spot on commentary)... I think we can forget any talk of Brahmer as a world class prospect (I was guilty of this).

I really think that Brahmer could have been competitive if it weren't for jail. Who knows? Given what Calzaghe did to Lacy, maybe Viet's better than we thought.

you cant win by ud by throwing that less punches while veit boxing him and brahmer doing nothing german online vote got it even because german commentary talk to much about brahmer .....

Round 8

Phone rang, missed the first 1 of the round.

I really wonder what Brähmer's strategy for this fight is, because if he continues like this he will lose. And its not like Veit is during anything good, he just keeps winning the rounds with easy "tools"

76-75 Veit (Commentator has it even) (had an adding error in round 7)

I'm oppoening a book on Calzaghe-Veit III to be the July 8th fight. PM me for the odds.

Round 9

Brähmer landing a good 1-2.

I think Brähmer won round 9 by a very slim margin.

85-85

Round 10

Online voters have it 6-3 in rounds for Veit (+ knockdown)

Veit cut under the left eye, doctor examines, fights goes on.

Brähmer smells blood.... (bad I know)

I didnt see if it was from a clash of heads or from a punch.

Veit still only using his jab/1-2 combo, simple but it works most of the time.

Round for Veit.

95-94 Veit

Round 11

Commentator have Veit winning by a slim margin, didnt say his score.

There is more action in this round, both knows its close.

Round Brähmer

104-104

Round 12

Winner of this round could win the fight.

Both landing more.

Veit lands a couple of good punches that gets him the round on my card.

114-113 Veit

If Brähmer had fourght a foreinger he would have won, same goes for Veit.

I smell a SD, I predict 115-112 Brähmer, 115-112 Veit 114-113 Brähmer.
