im up in North Wales in June.... will probably get a ticket for the BRITISH HW tITLE fight between Gammer and Krence

does anyone know what the undercard is looking like ?

peple have been slagging off this rematch

however i think its fair to say that Skelton and Williams are a division apart

as far as im concerned its good for the British scene to have Krence and Gammer battle it out... Skelton and Williams are world class and are constantly having titles tacked on to their fights 'british/commonwealth/wbu' and it just devalues things.......

Krence and Gammer are the perfect type of fighters with the kind of records to challenge for the BRitish titles.... they may not get a better chance and for these guys the Lonsdale belt will really MEAN something......(not just a stepping stone to a shot at Valuev)

when the winner of Krence/ Gammer has that wonderful belt wrapped around their waist ..it will bring back memories of the salt of the earth match ups between the likes of ERSKINE/ COOPER/ BYGRAVES/ COCKELL/ MEADE/ NOTICE.....etc


Gammer has made slow but good progress.... hes unbeaten with a decent punch and cud even progress to Euro level like Sprott

Krence altho not being able to punch his weight has more than earned his crack at the title

Krencey has been slagged off recently but i love the way he fights ...... he gives absolutley everything.... his hit and hold/ counterpunch tactics are fascinating to watch

i think that this rematch will bring the best performances out of these two honest to goodness HW's and the Lonsdale name will not be disgraced...

Who's most likely to fight the winner ? , the loser of Williams v Skelton II , Sprott , Harrison( if he takes up what seems to have been an offer from Warren to come home and rebuild) , Steeds , or maybe Baker/one of the other guys around that standard .

Theres already been talk of Harrison fighting Gammer after this fight (assuming he wins) hopefully rid us of Audley for good.

cant see AFORCE fighting Gammer..... but there are good matches for Gammer if he wins...certainly Sprott.... a return with Steeds would be nice.... Baker has the freakshow attraction.... Gammer has already beaten most at this level.... i look for him to move into the euro market .... hes still young and has a lot of improving to do

Yes, I heard that to, Steeds also wants a shot at the winner as well I have read.

Harrison vs Gammer!! who would have thought it? Although who in the UK would buy tickets for a Audley Harrison fight these days?

Henry Jones and Ceri Hall will be on the undercard for sure.

Henry will get a good reception, he is very local to the ground.

In the last Gammer show at the showground, the show had a fairly big undercard with the usual suspects of journeymen vs alot of Boyce' fighters.

So perhaps Jason Samuels (cousin of Paul) and Karl David (or whatever he is called) will be on the bill.... I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch of Samuels vs Hussein Osman - which was on the Gammer vs Francis show, this time with hopefully without the home town (or country) decision.

I have said before that i wasn't keen on this fight for the british title, I apprieciate that Krence is a good lad who put up a decent display against Skelton , but he has won only 1 of his last 5 fights and lost the others by stoppage including one against Grammer, that loss against Grammer was pretty onesided as well, so i can't see what he's going to do any different this time, Krence doesn't possess a big heavyweight punch, so a stoppage win for him seems a bit out of his reach. And i can't see him having the strength to outbox Grammer for 12 rounds.

I would have liked Krence to have got a couple of wins before taking on Grammer.

Skelton and Williams are not world class. They are fringe European level. Aside from doing over an over the hill Tyson, who was 10 years past his sell by date, Williams has done nothing to suggest he is world class. His performance against Vitali was the worst heavyweight title challenge by a British fighter since the days when Ali was smashing the likes of Dunn, and London to bits.
