Silkov - Would you mind reposting that Pone Kingpetch information again?

Yeah, well it seems someone here has totally lost the plot to be frank...
anyway, I have the fight and basically Pone was able to ultilize his boxing ability more in this fight than in the first encounter... it was still a very close fight but a fair decision... Harada seemed out-boxed at times. I'll need to watch it again to refresh the memory a bit and get a rounds score but like I said it was another close bout. But Harada was unable to dominate at times like he was able to in the first bout when he had Pone in trouble a number of times on the ropes.
Maybe Harada had weight trouble in this fight as he moved up to 118 afterwards. From what I've heard Harada used to blow up quite a bit in weight between fights.
I have a few fights of Pone including Ebihara and Perez.
Will you be writing about Chartai Chinoi as well... he's another great boxer...

Thanks, maybe we can get back on track here. I will do a piece, maybe a feature, on Chartchai as soon as I see him and spend a little time with him. I'm hoping this will be in another week or two.

That would be good. Boxing News did a feature on him a few years ago and unfortunately it seemed that he wasn't in the best of health. Hopefully he's in better shape than it seemed.
If I remember right Chartai had a very tempestuous relationship with his father, who I'm not sure may have been his trainer or manager... on one occasion he was taken to hospital after it seems banging his head against a wall during an argument with his father.
Will you be meeting Pone and Harada as well...?...

Pone is dead - he die quite some time ago, off the top of my head around 30 years ago.

I believe Chartchai is doing well now, at least the last I heard around two months ago.

I am going to have to meet with Harada and with any luck will spend a month in Japan in October to meet with as many Japanese greats as possible.

Yeah, I remember that Pone is dead now, died of pnemonia I seem to recall, real shame.
Yoko Gushikin is another great boxer, will you be meeting him?... I have several of his fights, excellent boxer he was...

Pone Kingpetch died on March 31, 1982 24 years ago not 30 at age 46 or 47.
