Moore vs Jones 3 - Late last year I thought (and wrote on the forum) that it was lucky to be fight of the year... I've changed my mind.

The two recent ones of Froch v Magee and Anderson v Muttley would be above the Power v Napa/Robinson fights for me . Moore v Jones 3 was a brilliant fight , definetly the best British fight of last year .

the AMPOFO/ARMOUR dust ups were a bit special.
didnt KEVIN FINNEGAN involve himself in a domestic war or two.
JOHNNY CLARK from walworth had a couple i think.
other names from the distant past that might fit into this thread are MARK ROWE, GYPSY JOHNNY FRANKHAM, PAT DWYER.
i apologise for not remembering opponents but it was so long ago

Only ones I've seen are Macca - Hobson.
I assume most have seen Eubank and Benn 1.
Morris Vs Monroe was cool too.
And Skelton Vs Williams were he nearly took Skelton's head off in the 12th!

What about Gomez-Arthur, that was a real cracker. That's one of my personal fav's.

Chris Saunders vs Del Bryan was an excellent back and forth fight that I still remember fondly today.
Billy Schwer had a number of excellent domestic clashes.

I've got Conteh-Finnegan I on DVD, and imo it's not the cracker that it's made out to be. I had Conteh a very clear winner, even though it wasn't easy for him.
My picks: Colin Jones-Kirkland Laing 2 (not seen the first one), Brodie-Swain, Minter-Kevin Finnegan II, Thompson-Eubank I & II, Maccarinelli-Hobson is right up there with any of them, Kaylor-Gumbs, I really liked Lee Meager-Danny Hunt from a year or two ago
i've not seen these but are these as good a sppl say?: Michael Ayers-Colin Dunne, Spencer Oliver-Pat Mullings, Marl Prince-Michael Gale, Lloyd Honeyghan v Cliff Gilpin I

i remember alot of talk about "scrap iron" ryan so i decide to watch one of his fights on grandstand one saturday afternoon, i'm guessing the fight was the night before....it was against a young jonathon thaxton..and thaxton knocked him out with one of the most devastating one punch knockouts i've ever seen
