Training footage is it? :TU:

Only kidding, I'm sure he's training hard these days.

Blimey... on the video it says he's 16 stone. No wonder he struggles to get down to 14st 4lb... there's not an ounce of fat on him... He must murder himself to make the limit. No wonder he gets knackered.

that was the first thing I thought aswell. All looked quite good although can't realy tell from that, it would be good to see some of his sparing up there at some point aswell.

Is that really how much he weighs there? Seems hard to believe, why on earth would you ever start at cruiserweight if you weighed that much whilst already in training, although at his age, he is probably filling out quite rapidly, you do tend to get heavier as you get older no matter how fit you are.

Looks in good shape with 6 weeks to go, but where on earth would he lose 1 stone, 8 lbs?

Doubt he weighs 16st in the video. If he does, then he needs to move-up, and fast!

Haye looks to be in good shape, training well etc.

Did anyone else notice, when Haye was doing pull-ups, the whole frame was shaking!

Haye is on borrowed time at Cruiserweight. Is he going for title shot after his next fight?

Jesus! and we were all thinking a step up to Heavy maybe too much :o

If that weight is true, what's he doing at Cruiser. We may have a legit HW hope here guys. :TU:

he's never 16st and that ripped???? and to boil down to 14,1/2st :o if i was haye i'd make this my last fight @cruiser...cos doing what he's doing isn't going to go him any good...

I don't buy into Haye struggling at the weight at all. Come on, the guy hates training. If didn't go partying as much and kept his weight low he could make it.

Haye looks like he weight lifted his way to Cruiserweight to be that heavy. You can fill out naturally as a boxer but not that quick, he hasn't even been a pro for 4 years yet.

Left Hook might have a point, he loves partying and you know what Miami is good for.

Wonder what his weights program is.

The struggle to make weight could be why his stamina isn't so good either.

Remember reading the BBN article were Haye wants to be 17st when he goes to Heavy. Why put unneccessary weight when your over the minimum enough?

If he's over 200lbs he a heavyweight in my book.

Throw him in with the big guys, he is the best hope we have. He will carry his power up. He needs someone like shilstone to add poundage the right way.

Get him up to about 208 and let him go.

He will mature after 18 months at 220 and thats plenty big enough.

Dinosaurs should weigh 20 stone, hevyweight champions should weigh no more than 17 stone.

Heavier than that and you are almost too big to box

Well he does have the power to crack egg chins like Wlad's but not yet.

The reason why he has'nt moved up is plain and clear fellas.....the second a proper heavyweight lands a JAB on that jaw of his,he is out for the count..simple.

He looks great, talks a good game, has skills and power, but if a 300 yr old Thomson can batter him and a SUPER MID in Molenga Lock can drop him, what hope does he have against a bomb from say Rahman?
Would KILL him probably!!!!

if he can't get a crack at a world title within 2 fight he should sack cruiserweight off and move up

I think his weight comes from too much weight work to be honnest, on boarder of being muscle bound.

In terms of moving to HW I think it would make sence he moves well for a cruzer so will be esspecially good for a HW. I still feel a bit uncomfortable about him going for the title shots without having gone the distence.

If he moves up he will proberbly need some punch bags first off before moving to european level, I recon he would have no problem with the British title boys (i.e. Krence and Gamma).

He was a 10 fight novice when he fought Thompson and it gave him a kick in the arse that he needs to work on Stamina and not just blasting people out.

I think a temple shot can drop anybody hence why Mock dropped him.

That looks a pumped up frame to me, look how small the waist and shoulders are compared to someone like Rahman, McCall etc. Plenty of big muscles there, but the underlying skeleton doesn't look like a heavyweights.

Evander holyfield was an outstanding cruiserweight, probably the best ever (Marciano, Moore Patterson?), but he only succeeded at heavyweight by having an incredible ability to absorb a shot, because he couldn't really crack hard enough to take people out as he had at Cruiser. Whilst Haye hits harder punch for punch than Holy, he won't be whacking out many heavyweights if he couldn't put Thompson away. I know he was only a relative novice when he fought Carl, but he hit him with so many shots and couldn't stop him, despite having virtually 3 rounds of using him like a punchbag and taking little or nothing in return.

Yeah he doesn't look particularly big in that photo, all arms and chest but no real width/density around the shoulder. If he was a very quick nimble heavy then why not give it a go but he does seem to get a hit a fair bit, like someone said a solid shot from a genuine heavy and it would be lights out
