Bit off topic like but.

Does anyone think Barney could of done better with his career instead of just running round the ring for a decent pay and help a fighters record?

I mean he made Froch miss alot but just defended and ran and most thought he beat Ulrich at Light Heavy.

Neri-Mendy pulled out, as he's fighting 25-0 Oganov instead now.

Max-Barney was always a spoiler, sure he couldve done better but in truth he didn't beat Ulrich, he just made it a very ugly fight.

Magazines and asking some posters though Barney beat Ulrich. Toobad he doesn't use his talent to go to Euro level. If he didn't run and take the pay day he could of whooped Froch.

Barney can stay away from pro boxing forever as far as I’m concerned.

Sure he has good defensive skills but he’s so boring to watch.

I didn't think Froch v Barney was a bad fight at all.

I think if Barney had a better aittitude not to just run and take the pay, he could do good Euro wise. Most opinions I've read on forums and magazines thought he beat Ulirch who is a bigger step up from Froch.

If Barney didn't spoil he would lose worse than he does against good fighters. If he didn't spoil against Froch he probably would have got knocked out.

Barney ran from Ulrich all night, just like he ran from Froch. He didnt win anything in either fight. If he had opened up against either of those guys it would have been lights out.

To be fair to Barney I thought he did a splendid job in upsetting Tony Oakey (although I havent seen the fight). :TU:

Yet he gave Ulrich a close one. :-?

And showed how limited Froch is.

saying if barney done this or that he would have got knocked out is like saying if he didn't play to his strengths he would have lost, which is obviouse, he beat ulrich out of sight and exposed him as the one pace fighter that he is, just as joe did to jeff lacy.
