I think he could of on that night.
Aiken was shit after two rounds, but Pereirawas nothing special either and kept fowling althought Aiken was proper faking the pain.

Same thoughts with me, it was a good fight, any of Esham, Hunter, Dunne would of came out as champ that night imo.

Pereira did a Vivian Harris. Fucked up on a big stage. JM Marquez should still be champ, I think he beat John. But the career decisions he made...Scott Harrison can't sem to get himself together. Koshimoto is quite old, Chi is faded, and I'm not sure Nicky Cook can step up the next level.
Enter, Jackson Asiku. I'd love to see this guy get some step up fights. The way he beat on McKeever, yes it was against a domestic guy. But I saw the fight when Karmazin came over here to beat Walker. We saw what Karmazin could do at world class (v Ouma) and Asiku showed that same kind of repertoire. Can't wait to see what Asiku can do at a higher level.

I still think Perrera would have been too strong for Esham, and too strong for Hunter.... Cook, different story.

He didn't look that strong against the last minute Aiken though.
