Is Nicky Pipers 12 second KO of John Ellis a UK record? Also does the 12 seconds include the 10 count I wonder?

A lesson to young aspiring fighters to protect yourself at all times. A review of boxrec showed the guy who was knocked out never fought again and the guy who threw the sucker punch only fought once more. Curious as to why he had only one more fight.

In 1984 Rickey Parkey stopped Broderick Mason in 8 seconds in a cruiserweight bout.

Has to be that fight where the one fighter (instead of touching gloves) nails the other guy with a vicious hook, sending him to the canvas unconscious. I'm not sure the official timekeeper got that one quick enough though.

Ended his career. Says 12 seconds, but it was much faster. Why'd the ref even feel it necessary to count?

I remember Jimmy Thunder KO'ing somebody with the first punch in a fight also. And his was not a cheap shot.

OH yeah HP...that was Crawford Grimsley.....barely touched gloves and it was over. This came immediately after Jimmy lost a Split Decision to John Ruiz.
