Robinson fought 202 fights, but what would you say is his best performance?

I've not seen anything like all of his fights but his performance in the final fight with La Motta was brilliant.

Personally I think it was his ko win over Fullmer.... one of the best punches I've seen koing one of the toughest ever middleweights... :box:  8)

He did manage to pull off an amazing victory, but despite very honed skills in this match, I think Fullmer was not one Ray's very best opponents at this time, and Ray had began the slide at this point.

It is extremely hard to say because of the situation with video footage at the time, but i would say the two fights mentioned are definitely up there, but maybe his performance in the Olson fights, or Turpin II

I'm of the belief that great fighters often give their greatest performances when they are past their physical best... for instance Ali vs Foreman... Duran vs Barkley... it depends perhaps whether the question is about Rays best physical performance or his best performance aside from whether he was at his prime or not.... for me one of the great things about his win over Fullmer was that he was past his best yet came up with such a devastating victory... I mean the punch he koed Fullmer with was a pure classic... you will never find a better one punch ko than that imo. For Rays best performance at his physical best I think you'd probably be looking at his 147 title defence against Kid Gavilan.

Robinson/LaMotta VI was the best. St. Valentines Day Massacre was full of excitement.
