(Oops posted this topic on the current scene by accident. Can't hurt having it here too I suppose)

Just been having a read around a few boxing websites, apparently Williams has a rematch clause he might invoke for a third fight with Skelton. :-? :-?

I suppose it could be a possibility for the undercard of JC's planned superfight later in the year but I can't see why DW would want to humiliate himself again if he can't lose the weight.

Oh the joy.

Well as you say ding ding it is a possibility. Even if Warren got Skelton a Valuev fight, it won't be in the US, and so I'd guess not this year. That leaves Skelton needing a fight. Virchis is possible (he might even be the highest challenger for the EBU title) but I doubt he'd be risked against him if Warren can muster up the world title shot.

Williams has been made Gammer's challenger, so I doubt Skelton could leap frog him. So yes, all roads potentially, alledgedly, lead to a third fight, which Skelton will win by a country mile unless Williams gives birth soon.

I'd rather watch two hairy gaylords having sex than a third installment of this 'epic trilogy' unless Williams can get his arse motivated and lose 20-30 lbs in weight, which seems highly unlikely.

Boxingchat is back, I've not seen a post from you for a while. Lucky you bottled out of the side bet on the Muttley vs Anderson scrap eh :TU: Since you know Frank, what's your thoughts on the Jennings vs Takaloo fight? I think Takaloo could cause your man an upset, Franks obviously thinks Taks not as good as he seems??

:o :o :o :o :o :o

Idon't want to see Williams back unless he shows he's in shape and Gammer would be the best comeback opponent.

Won't believe it till I see it now though.

No. he is saying he was using creatine in the buildup to the Skelton fight and has now lost 10lbs since the fight.

Won't Williams just piss off and retire? To me, seeing him waddle his way through the last few years of his career has been a blight on boxing.

I hated it when he beat 'Tyson' and cringed at the plaudits that flew his way in the aftermath.

I don't like that way he doesn't keep his weight down and I don't like the way he continually lies to the public about it each time. It's like a scratched record, "I'm in better shape than ever yada yada" and the fat fornicate comes in another 10lbs heavier.

I don't like the way he says as a muslim boxing is wrong but he is still 'learning his faith'. fornicating hypcrite, will you magically learn your faith when you are too old to fight and earn money? They should kick him out of the mosque if boxing is against Islamic faith.

And I also don't think he's all that good anyway and never was, his career is pretty much a bore and one big never-was.

And now he is taking up valuable airtime that could be spent on fighters who give a shit and deserve it.

Rant over.

My sentiments exactly. If the shell of Tyson he faced hadn't hurt his knee he probably would have KO'd him. He got lucky that night and has more than milked it dry now.

I didn't know that Mr Kipling's made creatinie flavour fondant fancies.

One lame arse excuse after another, the trend is simple, Danny's weight, with a couple of exceptions, has been rising for the last 4-5 years steadily and he is simply overeating. He is obviously naturally muscular, because he holds the weight very well, but he must be banging loads of weights because he is absolutely huge and very heavy.

He should enter worlds strongest man, because that's the kind of physique he has now, a powerlifters, not a fighters.

Williams is talking out of his arse as usual.

Is he seriously trying to say he gained 25lbs of muscle in 7 weeks through using Creatine? Tosser that is absoluely impossible.

He prob had small gains from Creatine and some extra muscle, but a lot of fat too.

I'd love to know his bodyfat percentage.

God, FW is really dragging em in feet first by trying to sell this lame duck farce a 3rd time. Is he trying to kill off UK boxing once and for all?

ITV should tell him to take his trilogy and hold it in his own back garden and film it with a camcorder, if he really want to see it. Because no-one else does.

Is this really, definitely, absolutely going to be a world title final eliminator this time Frank?

What will Danny say this time?

"Jim has really got me in the best shape of my life this time, for this crucial match. I am currently floating in an isolation chamber, in order to speed up weight loss, and Jim has me juggling oranges while tap dancing to cabaret, instead of sparring, which helps my balance and punch power."

I still stand by my comment that Danny Williams vs Mike Tyson was a has-been vs a never-been.

There is no point in a 3rd fight, unless KFC Williams can get his lazy buttcoks out of bed in the morning, do some road work & keep out of his local kebab shop.

There is no point in coming in at 20st +.

Williams is a true waster that always undoes his hard work.

Watching a third installment of this, is about as welcome as being offered 'an extra go' at russian roulette.
