IN THE REAL WORLD Hagler couldn't stop bloated, old, tired lightweight Roberto Duran

but now in the FAIRY TALE world he is able to stop Jake LaMotta.

Erm, maybe because Hagler was trying to beat him technically and tactically, and Duran happened to be a master boxer and also very durable...

... I suggest you widen your perspective.

I suggest you include the REAL WORLD in addition to your fairy tale world.

That might even include learning who Jake LaMotta was.

I see your "knowledge" of Jake LaMotta is quite limited and selective.

Bernard Hopkins V Dick Tiger- Hopskins SD15 Tiger; Hopkins defense is the difference
Carlos Monzon V Sugar Ray Robinson- The greastest p4p fighter ever loses to the greatest middleweight ever UD 15.
Les Darcy V Carl Olsen- "Yawn"...Olsen UD15..I guess.
Marvin Hagler V Jake LaMotta Lamotta's style combined with his chin and reletlessness would give Hagler fits. One any given night either could win, but because of his superior technical skill Hagler would squeak in a few more wins in a long fight series by SD15. Neither comes even remotely close to ko'ing the other.

We have now established that in the FAIRY TALE WORLD

Hagler could KO Jake LaMotta and Dick Tiger.

Very impressive.

But in the REAL WORLD he couldn't KO old, overweight, bloated lightweight Roberto Duran.
