Speaking of: Santos, where has he been? And why is he continually ignored when the elite 154-pounders are discussed? Sure, he lost to a German in Germany back in December. That reeked of hometown decision. He bounced back with a first-round knockout on the Spinks-Karmazin undercard on July 8. If Wright wants a competitive fight so bad, against a fighter who never gets a chance — as he never got a chance in his obscure days — then fight Santos.

can anyone find the bad errors?

Thats not the best piece of writing... Sergei is such a german name.... He clearly hasn't seen the fight and I think Santos has no-one to blame but himself for not getting the superfights. He had a prime opportunity vs Margarito - a decent name, if under exposed a tad himself.... and he stank the place out (although was heading for a uncontrovesial win the second time).

Also, why mention Santos - where the f is Dzindiruk... why doesn't Wright fight him.

1. Santos was not robbed. Dzinziruk beat him to the jab most of the fight, snapped Santos' head back with some of the snappiest jabs I've seen, beat the living daylights out of him in the last two rounds. Dzin won by 3 pts on all 3 cards, but he should've been 4 or 5 rds clear imo

2. Dzinziruk is not a German in Germany. He's Ukrainian, based in Germany.

3. Daniel Santos was not avoided by all the champs. Before Karmazin was conned out of his title, by having the ref give Spinks all the help he needed to reach the finishing line, Karmazin was scheduled to fight Santos. Guess what, the fight fell through, but what is King's purpose? Consolidate his welter and jr middles as hometown attractions and maybe - if he can - use them to beckon a big name like Mayweather

4. Winky was an underrated guy not being given opportunities once. Guess what, he isn't going to gravitate to guys in the same predicament as himself, he will gun fior big names as he has been!

he definitely hasn't seen the fight. why the animosity toward euro based fighters, ie the only way they can win is if they get lucky?

with the shit treatment of Mormeck, Karmazin and Adamek, I can guess that fewer Europeans will be going to America. (this applies to many foreign fighters, ie braithwaite as well). so american based writers should NOT be peddling this crap. dzinziruk has beaten a legit good fighter to win his belt, he won it commandingly (i've seen the fight) and will make good money in germany. can we say the same of Karmazin, Mormeck & Adamek? These 3 guys have done some major things, yet they are lucky to fight more than once a year and are allowed to deteriorate and maybe find another job!
