STEVE WOOD - Following 5 out of 6 winners on Friday nights SKY show, the head of VIP Promotions had another fairly successful day at the Central Area Council on Sunday where the following 2 cases were heard.

JOHN MURRAY - His request to be released from his boxer/manager contract was rejected as it was agreed the Stephen Wood had been a very good manager. It was noted that any dealings for boxer John Murray must be dealt with by Stephen Wood who his is registered licensed manager.

JOE GALLAGHER - The case by Stephen Wood against the trainer of John Murray for interfering with his managerial business was postponed until the next meeting as key witness John Murray did not attend the meeting . Boxer John Murray has had his license suspended until he appears at the meeting set for the 3rd September.

MOORE V MACKLIN IS ON - The George Carnell leisure centre had been booked for this much awaited British Title fight which will take place on the 29th September. The venue is in Urmston and is the place where the manoeuvred and fired up David Walker was easily dismantled in 4 one sided rounds by the experienced champion late last year. It is only 5 minutes away from SALFORD and will be rammed full of Moore's fanatical fans , ticket details and full under-card will be announced next week.

The case between Murray and Woods is still on going.
At the above meeting a decision was made without Murray or his representitives being notified of the meeting and so were not present at it .
This after the Chairman and Secretary on the day agreed to have this hearing held on Sept 3rd.

How can you have a hearing without inviting and notifiyng the people involved

Seems like certain people heve tried to rush this through without Murray and his legal team presenting the serious evidence they have got.
