I think Rahman gets his revenge this time.

Not really a massive fight is it, the only thing thats makes it a little interesting is what happened in their 1st contest.

I want Maskaev to win, but in reality i think Rahman takes the fight by late KO.

Have already advised a Rock win to friends (1.57 on B/F) and even have mumbled about a round 5-7 KO prediction. Hope this doesn't come back to haunt me, but surely Rahman will want his revenge rather than come in lazy which he seems to do too often.

By the way, if anybody hasn't seen what happened last time Rahman and Maskaev fought you can see it here. Rahman was winning comfortably until.....

Rahman might have to climb off the floor, but that shakier than thou chin of maskaev will betray him at some point, im saying Rahman via CKO (Cataclysmic Knockout) but who knows what round..?

Given Rahman's chin I wouldn't want to put money on this - the odds are not good enough.

At least Rahmans chin has let him down in good company though fella. Look at Maskaevs record- T-Rex & slappy hitting Whitaker?!? I know what your saying but Rahman is more reliable (for want of better term with these two) than The Big O.

Still, Maskaev took some decent shots off Sam, who can hit pretty hard at times, and boxed well too. Plus the Rock is a very hot & cold fighter, so Maskaev is a very live underdog. He could well win this.

Nearly every Heavyweight fight I've watched this year is because of downloads, so looks like looking for that the next day it is.

Be great if Sentanta threw it on a PPV like with Byrd and Klitschko.

Both so inconsistent it is hard to predict. Maskaev looks a very old 36.

From viewing the weigh in photos Maskaev just looked ancient and I cant see him turning the trick a second time.

If Rahman can keep his punch output high as he did in the Toney match he should win.

A sub 220lb Toney (will we ever see this version again?) would school all the present incumbents.

This surely cements Rahman's legacy as a habitual under achiever? His physical tools arent sufficient to make a great heavy and his chin seems lacking.

WHen MAskav was getting blasted out in back to back fights who ever thought that he would eventually gain a portion of the heavyweight crown??!

Maskaev seems to hold a punch much better than a few years back, which you don't often see - all in the mind, like they say.

There's a highlight video of it over at espn, less the KO though!

I heard a lot of people backing Rahman, saying he's much improved since the first fight, but in my book, in that period he has improved AND declined. He always seemed very erratic to me, with his best win being over Lewis who, for all his qualities, had a poor chin and underestimated some of his opponents.

I made my mind up on Friday night, when I saw Raham on the pads in training on YouTube. His left hand was constantly low, not hip low, where you can throw a jab without it being seen, but around his pectoral area. Each time he jabbed, he brought his hand back to his pec for about a second and then touched his nose.

He was way open for a right hand, and I knew that Maskaev would land at least one big shot in the 12 rounds.

Rahmans low left hand is a SERIOUS flaw, and one that none of his recent rainers have picked up on.

Why are they getting paid?

Maskaev looked much improved as he pounded out a decision over Sam, i don't think his general power was ever in question but always his suspect chin. Seems with a bit more mental strength he is a different guy...are all four title holders now from the old Soviet Union?

Thanks for that - was this a Top Rank show? I know Lopez and the other guy commentate for Top Rank. I would have love to have heard Tyson's comments throughout.

The both did look awful, but a least it was exciting.

Rahman just looked knackered, the shots which started the trouble weren't even bloody hard.
