Sept 2nd & still not on sale? Me want to go see Glencoffee beat up Clint in Bolton. any ideas on how much tickets are & where i buy em?

Ticketmaster is the first port of call for SN tickets, as far as I'm aware.

Any reason for wanting Woods to get beat - or are you just a Glen fan?

It's just I'm noticing a trend of Brits wanting their own to get beat...

I think its because on the whole most uk fighters are protected and you end up hating the british scene for it and in the end want them to shown up. but in fairness to clinton he has been in with the best of his era and won against good opposition.

I've been told that this has been selling well and that some of the tickets have already sold out (the cheaper seats).

I think this has the potential to be a cracking fight, Clinton has improved his strength and Glenn wont be able to bully Clinton now so we might get to see a good old toe to toe affair.

Glencoffee Johnson is the IBF champion more than Clinton frickin Woods.

The IBF stripped The Roadwarrior for wanting to unify the light-heavy titles with #1 Antonio Tarver, which would have benefitted all boxing. Apparently though Woods was the #1 contender despite being given 3 opportunitys already, and succeeding in none of them.

Woods is a paper champion & i look forward to Johnson righting the cruel & corrupt wrongs of the IBF with his fists. (after which Woods will probably be installed as the IBFs mandatory #1 contender For Life)

Yes the IBF was harsh on Johnson, but lets not forget the IBF were equally harsh on Antonio Tarver prior to the first Woods vs Johnson match. Stripped for defending against the most dominat Light Heavyweight of all time. Johnson was ranked somewhere like #8 by the IBF but was given an eliminator fight cause he was the only available contender.

Then, for all their wisdom they decide to strip Tarver for fighting Jones, even though the Woods vs Johnson and Tarver vs Jones fights were announced months before.

Woods did beat De Lisle in an eliminator post Johnson (and prior Hoye) - so in many ways he did deserve the 3 shots, but yes the IBF shouldn't never stripped Tarver and then Johnson.

Clinton has looked better, but I have a feeling Glen has his number. The guys Woods has beaten since weren't on Johnson's level, nor did they fight Johnson's style which is high pressure infighting.

Sorry can't help you with that.

Booking fees really frig me off, I've been to loads of Boxing shows and hundreds of music gigs over the years and they always screw you with a booking fee.

Some places even charge you an extra £1 for booking with a debit/credit card.

Not Ticketmaster anyway, they charged a 5 pound delivery fee for Williams vs Skelton II - thank Feck I got a refund.

From my limited experience if there is a boxers manager/fighter that is selling the tickets then they usually don't charge a booking fee. Going back some way but Dai Gardiner never charged any extra for any of Steve Robinson fights and would post the tickets.
