Are you really serious ???

I had Williams beating Holmes by 4. He took the first 6 rounds and was smokin Holmes with his jab. Holmes closed the gap a bit late, but most fight fans I knew at the time, thought Williams was robbed.

I had Benitez beating Duran by 3.

How about Mike Tyson v James "Quick" Tillis? I had it 6-4 for Tillis.

I think I had it 96-93 Tyson. I knew people that thought Tillis won, but frankly I think they were giving him some leeway because the bout was supposed to be another blowout for Tyson. That doesn't mean that Tillis didn't turn in a very respectable performance though.

Glad you listed an additional fight.

The problem I had when scoring the fight was that after the fourth round, Tyson did very little. He threw very few combinations and Tillis had him at the end of the jab and caught Tyson with some snappy right hands. Remember the fight was scored on a rounds basis.

Actually, quite a few people thought Tillis won the fight. You don't have to agree that Tillis won, but it is a fact that there were a number of people that thought Tyson benefited from a disputable decision.

I could see the fight 6-4 Tyson, 5-5, or 6-4 Tillis, but there is no way Tillis only won three rounds. Tyson did not fight enough to win seven rounds. He would bore in, getting hit with a jab and right hand, and then he'd get tied up. Rinse and repeat.

Now back to the original 5 fights.

Holmes-Williams. Williams won at least 10 rounds. This was one of the worst decisons in a heavyweight title fight ever.

Spinks-Qawi. Spinks deserved the win, though it was competitive. Are their people that think Qawi won? I have never heard that.

Hagler-Anterfermo. I had Hagler winning 8 rounds to 7. The decision ( a draw) really wasn't that out of line. Hagler was a much better fighter, but for some reason he stopped doing much and away several of the later rounds.

Benetiz-Duran. Benitez won this fight. Is any seriously saying that Duran got robbed?

Have never seen Chavez-Lockridge.

I wasen't implying those particular decisions were bad, only that I was interested in hearing how posters scored them. For some reason I don't remember scoring Spinks v Qawi, but I was hoping there would be a rematch, I still believe Qawi could have won.

As for Hagler v Antuofermo I, even though Vito battered Hagler in a couple rounds like no one ever had before or since, I still think Hagler won than more enough rounds to take a clear decision victory.

If you get a chance to see Chavez v Lockridge you may be in for a surprise. It was a MD for Chavez, but I had Lockridge winning by 2. Rocky was a really hard luck guy, because he has the dubious distinction to have dropped disputed decisions to Chavez, Wilfredo Gomez and Eusebio Pedroza. Not saying he was robbed, but all 3 could have gone his way with luck.
