Cannot really judge cause I don't think I have seen him in action. His record looks promising enough, isn't a bulked up Super Feather and has the southpaw style.

Anybody seen his fight with Watson?

I'v seen him fight a couple of times and he isnt too bad. he is certainly a test of sorts for khan at this early stage. I doubt khan can stop him but his speed should be too much. Barrett will come to fight though.

Yeah BBN are lucky to have 'Scoop' Taylor who saw this exclusive advertised during Liverpool's match on ITV last night.

Spotter's Badge! :TU:

Shame Boxing News will be a couple of days too late with it...

The same scoop Taylor got from me on boxing banter. He even ripped off my thread title. But then, he knows all about ripping people off.

PS: The impartiality of BBN is now seriously in question with Taylor plugging Maloney shows repeatedly, don't you think? Taylor would sell his soul for a free ringside seat.

You think I need to suck up to all the BBN know-nothings on here? Wrong.

God, we've been here before. Just let it go.

No, I don't think. I'm the Editor, not Kevin. I run with (edited) press releases from all over the place.

Go on, find some evidence that there's more on BBN on Maloney shows than there is on Fight Academy, Hennessy or even fledgling Stoke outfit Impact Boxing, for instance.

In fact Mods, lock this shit up before he starts bother up again, will you?

Barrett's more than useful at area level, but despite his tall frame I'd say his best weight is lightweight. As far as I'm concerned Amir is Light welter, so it's another pull in the weights.

Ryan has plenty of attitude and won't take to being bullied by Khan. Barrett was a solid amateur, as you would expect from Eltham ABC and will have benefited from years of training under his Dad.

The class gap will be the deciding factor here, but as far as the matchmaking goes, it's a step in the right direction.
