According to all reports Carlos Maussa got comprehensively beaten on points on what was supposed to be an easy return vs Manuel Garnacia. Garnacia will now acquire a ranking with the WBA as this was for a WBA junior title.

However, Garnacia hasn't won since 1999 and hasn't beaten a name. Hatton didn't have it all his own way vs Maussa and this latest result doesn't enhance Hatton's reputation.

All he done was win rounds by Maussas lack of defensiveness, everytime he went forward he was just countering and with Maussa being to lazy he just kicked rounds, he could of won the fight if he wanted it but seem to just be laxidazical, according to my mate he was piss poor this guy he was fighting, just scoring with the counter with feeble punches.

I think that hatton looked a lot better than Mausser, he bossed the fight and didn't look vunerable ever, what worried me more is between that fight and his last one he seems to have forgotten how to Jab.
