Is that a typo, he is fighting for the WBC Interim title on the night the WBC title proper is being decided?

WBC International title?

Looks like its for the WBC International title. The guy looks pretty handy. Beating Augustus in your twelth fight is quite impressive. I wonder could it be possible he has some bouts missing maybe if he fought pro in Cameroon or something :-?

Pretty handy could be an understament - John Brown is shot, but the likes of Augustus, Alderete, and Rojas are damn fine fighters... and he beat three of them, stopping two of them late.

I think Lynes is booked for his third defeat in a row here.

I presume Lynes is on the bill to sell some tickets. If it was left to Witter-Corley for ticket sales the place will be a graveyard.
