I like Mbaye, very talented fighter. I'd like to see him get a chance at a decent $$$ fight.

Good fight & a classy display from M'baye, but he was hurt in the 1st...showed a cool head to come back so well.

Sign of the times when I watched this fight and didn't even realise it was for a world title till the end!

TBH I thought that was a bullshit stoppage. Was Balbi anymore hurt than M'Baye was in the first? Or Clinton Woods when McKenzie was telling us he was gone after getting nailed with that right from Johnson? The guy comes half way across the world to fight for a world title and has to put up with that.

Mbaye did look vulnerable and fairly easy to hit at times. Exceptional skills though.

If Warren doesn't know what to do with Mbaye (and by his body language watching the fight, it didn't look like he was interested) - then how about a rematch. That was a ding dong fight.

yeah it does seem an obvious way for khan to get that world title and beat naz's post war record of the youngest british world title holder.

shouldn't be too hard to get khan ranked with the wba.

balbi was hurt but it was a bit too early for a title fight.

give the guy a bit more leeway than that.

Yep, agree too early. Balbi seemed to be recovering and showed on a few occasions he could hurt Mbaye.

Mbaye was Hatton's mandetory right? WOuld be an easy nights work if Hatton fought him but I imagen Warren wouldn't be happy with that. If only they could get allong we could have a double hedder Woods Calzaghe and Hatton Mbaye

If Witter comes through against Corley he could do alot worse than go after M'Baye. Doubt Frank would let it happen but it would be interesting to see Witter as the undisputed champ in Ricky's division. Hard to see how the fight wouldn't come off if that was the case

I can imagen frank putting the witter fight on just to spite Ricky Hatton, think he would have a reasonable chance too as Mbaye looked suseptible to a hard shot.

Don't think Khan will be ready for Mbaiye by then, a slick counter puncher who can bang a bit is all wrong for Khan.

I though M'Baye looked very good, but might be vulnerable against a big puncher. He's a legit champ though, which makes a change from some of the third-raters we've seen holding world titles recently.
