ok, Woods W12 Johnson created no small demand for Woods-Calzaghe. For British fans and ppl not agonising over super middleweight history, this is a very appealing fight.

If Witter beats Corley, who knows the long overdue Hatton-Witter might happen. Maybe one of those 2 could fight M'baye, the Frenchman who is British based (not a proper domesic clash, but you know what I mean)


So can anyone come up with domestic fights from the bottom of the barrel to the top that we want to see. Had plenty of great fights this year, far too many to list off the top of my head.

Tyson Fury v Bonyongo Destroyer

Carl Johanneson, Kevin Mitchell , John Murray fighting each other, see whos the best.

Amir Khan v Lee Meager

Jackson Asiku-Nicky Cook - no one wants to fight Asiku. This guy used to get treated like a journeyman but ran all these guys exceptionally close Nedal Hussein, Rakkietgym, Gairy St Clair (now WBC 130 champ) & might have been a tad unlucky more than once. He's got a solid base now in London, holds the Commonealth title & has looked murderous defending his title. Nedal decided against a rematch. Cook wants to gun for a world title but this would be way better & I can see Cookie folding vs Jackson's arsenal

Witter-Hatton WBA/WBA unification - I know, I'm getting ahead of myself

Souleymane Mbaye vs Witter or Hatton - yes Mbaye is an import but he looks like our best UK based import since Harry Simon or Winky. Hope Warren can keep him fighting over here. IMO Mbaye is the smoothest boxer at light welter. a treat to watch.

Witter vs Ajose Olusegun - dunno if Ajose is British based, but I'd like to see this, even if Witter loses to Corley. Both guys have trouble finding opponents. Witter is an awesome puncher and Ajose is very hungry & capable of beating welters


Enzo-Mark Hobson II - 1st was a genuine classic. Apparently there is a demand for it given that a lot of ppl saw it on the Calzaghe-Lacy undercard, & it was shown in America.

Macarinelli-Haye - Clear up this bad blood once and for all.

Dodson-Magee - Froch looks a level above Dodson at the moment so get Tony in with Brian Magee to see how Froch and Dodson measure up.

Paul Smith-Michael Jones - The battle of Liverpool. Probably too soon for Smith but i just wanted to say 'Battle of Liverpool'

Anderson-Muttley Rematch - the first fight was great.

Hatton-Witter - no explanation needed.

Johannsen/ Mitchell/ Murray/ fight each other - All pairings have the makings of good fights.

Calzaghe-Woods. I genuinely want to see this one and reckon Woods' strength inside would surprise the far smaller Calzaghe & make it a hard fight. Calzaghe has cleaned up top class Brits Woodhall, Reid, Starie, Eubank. Woods is in way better shape & on much better form than those were when Calzaghe got 'em. Woods is better than he looked against Johnson last weekend, and let's not forget he won the fight.

I think Witter would more likely fight M'Baye than Hatton as Ricky cares more about pleasing the Americans.

I like the sound of most of the fights mentioned so far. Would love to see Khan Vs Anderson too, maybe 2007. Does Amir last the distance?

Hmm, not sure about that, Scott's a big bastard, and it might be a big shock for Cook. Cook might make the early running, but if he couldn't hurt Scott I think he might have big problems later on.

Cook's the better fighter technically, but not sure if he would be ready for Scott yet.

LVLARC! When you say "Anderson vs Khan" I take it you mean Kevin Anderson?!! Come on mate, that wouldn't even be a fight, Anderson would murder this wee up-start. You say, "Anderson by K.O. or Khan by points" what world do you live on? Khan would get mullered, no question, and think Ando would take it as an insult to even suggest Amir Khan would go the distance with him. Never mind Amir Khan, they should rename him Amir Khanny.

Khan is fighting below light welterweight at the moment, so there is no way he will be fighting Anderson anytime soon.

LV, everyone in this game has there opponents picked by their promoter, unless they are nominated to fight someone, but there is a difference picking an opponent that will give your fighter a challenge and help him learn. That's the difference, Ando has been in with some dangerous guys very early in his career, he took on Bartniki in his second fight, this guy had just KO'D Darren Bruce. A couple of fights after that he took on Alban Mothie, that guy has to be one of the toughest guys in the sport and now has the French l/middle title. A couple of other opponents have won version of titles as well. Whereas Khans opponents have been dug up from the local graveyard, the kids learning nothing, he will get a HUGE shock when he moves up a class, although he thinks he's already took that step Would love to see KHAN VS EARL, although Earl is way above Khan, I would love to see the golden boy getting found out, WELL OVER-RATED. Said it before, first decent puncher who can take a punch will beat him easily

Anderson had a much better first 12 opponents than most prospects on the circuit. The fact he beat Okine and Mutley and won the Commonwealth and British titles is testament to that.
