Vitali is becoming something of a cult figure.
(and yes I did spell 'cult' correctly)

I think silkov and pundit are the only ones in that cult.

I think you're right...funny how it was determined that Vitali was supposedly the best hvy of 2004/2005 yet the only people making any case about it was the two mentioned!

Pass the koolaid, I think there may be something to this Vitali guy. I have to admit that throughout his whole career I was rather skeptical of the guy, but as time passes I’m beginning to understand how truly incredible he was. A few simple facts reveal that he was perhaps beyond mortal.
1. He holds at least 5 PHD’s in everything from sports nutrition to nuclear physics.
2. He’s the only professional boxer to have ever gone from boxing to a successful career in Ukrainian politics.
3. He never lost a single round in any of his fights, or at least that’s what the Mahareesh pundit has told me. In fact, I don’t think he ever lost a single minute of any rounds in any of his professional fights.
4. He fought many rounds against one of the most fearsome HWs in history with his arm completely detached from it’s socket and dangling from his shoulder by a single tendon.
5. He was the kick-boxing champion of the entire world. Not just some alphabet title, but the whole enchilada.
6. He’s the ONLY boxer to have ever been declared the Ring magazine HW champion without ever defeating a recognized title holder.
7. And most importantly, he’s the ONLY fighter in history to have ever retired undefeated, despite having been declared the loser in 2 fights. No mere mortal could have accomplished such a feat.
So the next time you even think about discussing such trivial issues such as Vitali supposedly quitting on his stool (we know the REAL truth

), take a minute to ponder this great man’s entire life. It’s beyond inspiring.

Vitali is a legend, although he didnt prove it in the ring as he didnt fight the best, but he would have beaten the best, he is a champ, i dont have emperical evidence to back my claims, but i have faith in Vitali... Faith that Vitali was the new best thing in boxing, but he had to retire to give his other boxing collegues from the east strength to rise up against the Americans.. and it has proved successful... All hail Vitali

No, he had to retire because his body was destroyed by steroids.

Says who?.... lots of boxers in their 30s suffer chronic injuries, are they all on steroids???>>... I doubt Vitalis injurys were caused by his supposed early Steroid use...
