Witter and Corley ready to rumble

Witter and Corley eye to eye at Ally Pally.
Two confident boxers, no brashness at the press conference, both think it will be all over around the midway point.

Good to see a major fight back in the capital after all this time.
Any idea how much these two are getting paid?

Just wait until it's 12 rounds of each fighter going the opposite direction.

Don't lie, you're just scared you might have to get a pint in, bet you are going, but with a false nose and glasses and a dirty old mac, or maybe you'll go in disguise.

ho ho Ian, yes I'm feeling a little guilty not turning up for this one. Mind you, they left it a bit late in terms of announcing the bloody thing was on. I've got a party to attend, organised by the wife, but I hope to do a dissapearing act around 10, as I know they have sky on upstairs....so I'll gradualy edge towards door around 9.55, then hope to melt into the background and not get noticed for the next hour or so.
Though knowing Jr Witter, I'll probably get found upstairs fast asleep before the night is though.

A question for Liverpool boxrec members, know any pubs where they'll show this?
So Corley is basing Witter off the Judah fight like the typical American fans do eh.
That belts as good as Witter's then.
Corley looks big for the weight too!

Anybody planning on capping the fight and sticking it on wbva?
I ditched sky due to the generally dismal output, I am also chief ombudsman of the St. Skints foundation for the welfare of scroungers.

Corley has a Light Middleweights shoulders, but a super featherweights legs, he's all shoulders and chest, but very spindly down below. Witter looks more slight, but his weight is better distributed.
Both guys are 5' 7" and have the same reach.

You'll need a lot of OJ and a plate of flapjacks for that one!
We'll also have news from the weigh-in later today

does alley pally have a decent view for everyone or is like the excel
where its all one level?
i fancy witter might squeeze out a decision if his stamina doesnt let him down

Sadly the view, unless they have installed temporary staging, isn't great, it's on the flat.
However, it is a magnificent venue, and a very dramatic place for a fight. They usually lay on some DJ's and some decent grub as well compared to most promotions I've been to.
