Big fight for Lynes

I found Lynes's performance against Daws a bit odd last time he was out. He was (if I recall) a fairly late-call up etc, and there being a couple of other factors, I'm not sure where I'd say Lynes is currently "at."

I would say though, that tomorrow night's fight is probably the big last chance to pitch himself to the world. He fights Herman Ngoudjo 14-0, a Cameroon international from Canada, who has never fought outside Canada before. This will be a WBC Int defence for Ngoudjo, who carries a #5 with the WBC.

I for one havn't a clue about him. I've tried making sense of him looking at his record, but at only 14-0 I find him hard to judge off that alone. Any opinions?

I have never seen him fight, I don't think - but his record is very impressive. I have seen Augustus, Eloy Rojas, Alderte and John Brown and they are all better than Lynes. Although Brown might be past it now.

If this fight is back on, then I think Lynes is booked for defeat judging by the names in Ngoudjo record. For a 14 fight novice, its an impressive list of fighters.

Ngoudjo is none too exciting but he would outclass Lynes without much bother...
