Witter-Corley... Who is going to this?

Am going to this myself with a few mates.
What's the best way to get to the Ally Pally? Never been there before - don't even remember the last time a half decent fight was on there.
The website says go to Wood Green (Piccadilly Line) and then get the W3 bus, but mentions there is a free shuttle bus service on most event days. How long will it take to get there from say Piccadilly Circus? and what's it like getting back to the City afterwards?

Ally Pally is on the top of a hill about 10 mins from Wood Green by bus. They built it there to project their signals live over london in the 50's but they invented wires that projected signals better from Crystal Palace so the place was redundant almost as soon as it was built.
The City is closed at night except for policemen who think you are a terrorist so most people head for the West End which is full of out-of-town idiots and drunks. My advice is to head for Old Street on the city/ East End border. The place rocks at the weekend, from the tube head east and follow some chick about your own age through a doorway, club, blues bar, unlicenced den whatever.
Have a nice time and don't blame me.

There is an Alexandra Palace train station, its about a 5-10 minute uphill walk from there.

Yeah get to Kings X and jump on a mainline train to Alley Pally. Then just head up the hill.
Hopefully there will be a good crowd there but last time I went there for a fight (Walker v Karmazin) it was half empty, still a great atmosphere though

It seemed full of kids for the Walker fight, tonight it will be full of Albanians!

I can't imagine they will draft in any special seating, who knows what sort of crowd this will attract. Witter couldn't normally sell out his front lawn! The fact its a WBC title fight will attract punters, but how many? ;)
