Hops obviously got a lot of confidence fighting a bigger, slower man (Twatter). Taking it to the extreme now. Shame, as of all the heavies the last one I want to see humiliated is Maskaev.

Why do you want to see MAskaev humiliated????

He's a true warrior - always matched very hard and shown heart in coming back from big defeats..

This is daft, Hopkins should retire gracefully, even if he wins it will just make the division in even more of a mess. Although he probably doesn't care about that.

Well, I for one don't blame him for wanting to try, he'd get one over on Toney, though I suspect he will get a savage battering if he faces a big ruigged heavyweight like Maskaev. 12 Rounds is a long time to go without being tagged by a flush shot, and he doesn't have Jones Jr's handspeed, and Maskaev is a bit more aggressive than the reluctant Ruiz.

Toney and Maskaev would give Hop a beating at Heavyweight.

Hopkins small skinny frame would be a mistake to try HW!

Why not Valuev? He's a weak champ too. Probably because he's with King.

Hopkins just likes big names who are overated to make him look good ala Tarver.

I don't think it happens. Maskaev hasd to beat that Nigerian/Japanese citizen guy in Moscow, THEN beat Peter apparently. Unless the WBC make an exception.

Never will happen. Hopkins isnt going to get the kind of big money he wants. At his age & with his frame i doubt he'll overcome a powerful guy like Maskaev either. Plus Maskaev has his hands full with other fights.

Go away B-Hop.

maybe he's trying to get some attention, just to spark interest in him for cynical reasons.
