Keith Stevenson vs Dana Roston. Roston down 3 times, Stevenson down twice.

Jorge Paez vs Calvin Grove I and II

Ray Mercer vs Bert Cooper. Mercer looked like he had a golfball inside his jaw at the end.

Jim Watt vs Sean O'Grady. Would have been a favorite of Count Dracula's.

Livingstone Bramble vs Ray Mancini II. Huge come back by Mancini falls just short.

I know this fight might not be as memorable to you guys and it is still fairly recent, but I thought Cesar Soto-Luisito Espinoaa II was a fantastic fight. I think it was on Univision or Telemundo and maybe thats why it didn't get the publicity that Paulie Ayala-Johnny Tapia got.

It took place on May 15th, 1999 and Espinosa was making the 8th defense of his WBC featherweight title. Espinosa had already beaten Soto before in 1996 in his second defense and won a decision. This fight was back and forth with great action. Soto was announced the winner by a very close decision in the rematch, although I had Espinosa slightly ahead.

I never heard anything about this bout after I watched it. Did anyone else think this was a superbly entertaining fight?

Jeff Harding - Dennis Andries I. And the two Calvin Grove-Jorge Paez fights. Those three fights hooked me on boxing.

The light heaveyweight division in the seventies was one of the more interesting weight classes. However it started to thin out in the eighties as they would trot out guys like Murry Sutherland and Jerry "The Bull" Martin, they would get beat and all of a sudden there they were back fighting for another title.

Toney-McCallum I would be my pick...that was one hell of a good fight...damn close, but one that I was not upset at all to see it called a draw!

I agree, he gets a bit overshadowed by Saad, but he was a excellent fighter in his own right, very exciting to watch... impressive how he came back in the mid-80s to regain the title again!... :box: :box: :box:

After the Rahman fight, he had an infection or something, and spent some time in the hospital. Supposedly, he lost 40 pounds, which'd make him a cruiserweight.
Probably weighed 210 still... though Toneys methods of bulking up so high are a little dubious for me... to say the least!...

Edwin Rosario-Howard Davis
Ken Norton-Jimmy Young
Tommy Cordova-Freddie Roach
Tony Lopez- Rocky Lockridge (at least lately you don't seem to hear people talking about it much)

There was a fight around 1994 with Kenny Keane and another guy that can't recall that was a great fight. Maybe someone else remembers.
