i cabbed john once, only about a mile, but i'm a big fan (or was when he was fighting). i didnt know it was him until his lady friend mentioned that john h stracey the boxer was in the car and had i heard of him!!!!!!!!!!!

i nearly flipped when i looked in the mirror and saw john.
had a little chat at the end of the journey, told him what fights i saw him in.
great fella, got a lot of time for him

John H. is a top bloke. He's been down here to Wales many times supporting one show or another. Always approachable, very friendly and a damn fine singer too
