i hear murray has pulled out of the fight with burns,so much with all the hype that mitchell and murray get all the time ,seems they just want to fight bums and talk a good fight.that now leaves burns to fight carl johannson,it should be a cracker as they are 2 brave lads not like the others.

I wonder how much the behind the scenes problems affected Murrays last performance? Although I didnt see the fight he looked battered at ringside during the Witter fight, and I hear his performance was non too clever.

I dont think Murray just wants to fight bums though, mendoza was a very live and dangerous opponent. And I suspect the injuroes from his last fight will keep him out of the Burns fight.

Murray got pretty marked up in his last fight so I am not surprised.

Johannson fights Femi Fehintola next

I think carl wins that one. Femi dosent appear to have the power to keep Johansen at bay.

Heard Murray has pulled out of the fight completely and wont even take it when fit. I think that means he can't fight for the British title for another year.

Perhaps Wellington can clear up.

Wellington only posts on here when its press release time..I wouldnt hold my breathe waiting for clarification.

very disappointing.

All this managerial two'ing and fro'ing has certainly affected murray's progress and I for one am very disappointed this fight has been cast aside. I was a potentially excellent clash of young talents.

really not surprised. so predictable this would happen. why would you fight so close to a major showdown.? so u can have a reason to pull out the fight. okay murray has a bad black eye but he shouldnt have taken that fight and the black eye is his excuse to get out.

Ditto, although given the short notice I fear it may be an 8-rder against a fairly non-descript opponent. Or he could be pulled out altogether and be given a shot at the comm belt or something on the Arthur card - give him the opportunity to be the champion-elect rather than the unsung challenger if you know what I mean.

burns is off the manchester bill,all that training for nothing because murray bottled it,he fought 2 weeks ago so how is he not ready,strange one this,he should be reprimanded for waisting peoples time

I think Burns would have won..... Murray is too easy to hit and Burns is tough. I think he would have won via UD. It would have been a cracker though.

I hope Burns hasn't missed out on a pay day and Frank can draft in an opponent.

I do worry if Murray can make Super Feather comfortably, although last time he was only 1/2 lbs over.

Surprise, surprise. How often do we see that on a Frankie show? nearly every time! Fair enough, call offs happen, but it seems to me that he comes up with a load of mouth watering fights only for them to call off when most of the tickets are sold. Bad luck or good planning??
