I was just wondering if Michael Dokes still in prison?
He was sentenced to between 4 and 15 years in 1999. So it's possible that he's since been released.

As far as I know , he still is. I read somewhere a couple of years ago that hadn't been behaving himself inside and was getting time added on, I can't remember the source, apologies.
I remember he used to throw flowers to the women in the crowd before fights in his early days, he certainly seemed to change his attitude to women after retiring.

I'm not making excuses for him but he's probably got brain damage from boxing and drug abuse... in an interview I saw of him before that awful Bowe 'fight' he could hardly string a sentence together....

Well Tyson needs the money, he'd probably be sneaking in through windows while you were at work and heading to the pawn shop with all your gear.
Of course, he'd get caught by the cops, unless Rooney was planning the heist for him.

I hope so. There are people in prison who probably don't need to be there. Dokes isn't one of them.

I'd be scared if they let him out. The guy comes across as a complete psychopath. The number he did on that women reaches Tony Ayala-levels of advanced depravity.

"Close Custody" and "not on parole agenda". Sounds right.
I wonder why no reporter books a visit & holds an interview with him. It'd make fascinating readings.

Ask him his thoughts on the 1989 Holyfield fight. Thanks

Apparently he's in the Southern Desert Correctional Center in Indian Springs, NV. I would think twice about giving my address though.

If he shows up at my house after his incarceration i'm sure a hilarious sitcom 'Odd Couple' type situation would arise.

You better have a 6’5’’, 240 lb, shoe-less, jheri curl sporting crack head around to protect you.
