Anyone know much about his career? Fought from 92 to 99 at Supermiddle. Boxrec doesn't list a good deal of his fights having him at 8-2. He won the IBC crown fighting in Denmark and Switerzerland (where gauging from Brian Nielsen the fly by night organization must be housed). I've seen pictures of him fighting Hector Camacho Sr. in Zurich but it isn't listed on either of their records. His website claims a 21-2 final mark.

What I do know is that he was a strong amateur that had a real shot at the 92 Olympics before being run over by a cab and breaking his back. See him around the gyms here in LA and was wondering if anyone knows more about his career.

Guess I should probably mention that Musico fought out of his home state of New Jersey till winning the IBC crown whereby he had several fights not listed on Boxrec "defending" his IBC Rootbeer crown.

Just curious if anyone knows anything more.

Hey Dan, Not doubting you at all, but if he had so many fights and he actually scaled the IBC heights he would be an oddball in terms of "under the radar" here. Can anyone explain this? Or the likelyhood of such a scenario? Would it be a fluke or would there be many stories like this? Fighters who have made some noise but really have yet to be logged in so to speak.

I'm just curious on this one.

Yeah, I really don't know. I see him around LA a good deal at the local gyms , ie Wild Card, etc. Knows everyone. On boxrec he is listed as being 8-2. He fought on USA a few times (I saw those), but I can't track him once be became an "IBC" pretend beltholder. Be assured I do not take the IBC seriously in the least. Just curious about this guy. I have seen pics of him fighting Camacho in Zurich but their is NO INFO on this fight. Maybe Photoshop job?

Musico is a fraud!!, his record is what's stated on boxrec. Musico never was a world champion or on any Olympic team. Musico is a bad seed, and don't believe anything you read about him.. Musico never fought Camacho , he is a liar a cheat and a fraud. Musico fixed all of his fights except for his debut and two losses, he isn't a celiberty trainer and never roomed with delahoya.

After further research of this character Danny musico, he has been posting pictures with the IBF world belt as if he is champion. Danny Musico a year after the 911 attacks contacted the IBF and asked them to donate two belts, one for the Nypd and the Nyfd, he stated in a letter to the ibf that he was going to be a guest speaker at a event that was honoring the police and firemen of 911. Mr Musico was granted his request of obtaining the belts for the event, Mr Musico never was a guest speaker or did he ever present the PD or Fd with the championship belts. It's a crying shame that he would steep so low just to feed his ego, Musico is a fraud that's living a lie...

Yes he is a fraud, paid adam garland to lay down to win the Ibc intercontinental title.. not world title. Musico set up and choreographed all of his fights except for the ones he got knocked out in. His record is 8-2 not 20-2, he even went as far as to edit the only tv fight he was in not to show he got knocked out in.. total fraud.
