Where did you find this fight in the end?... I was actually otherwise engaged at the time anyway 8) so couldnt have watched it... nice round by round though... sounds like it was a bit of a dull fight... doesnt sound like Corrales has got much hunger left for the game, my bet is that the Castillo fights have probably wiped him out...

So delighted Casamayor has finally won a big one. One of the most unluckiest guys in boxing. I still feel the only fight he was beaten (as opposed to where "he lost") was vs Castillo - even that was disputed.

Even Corrales vs Casamayor 1 wasn't deemed worthy of headlining and there is a strong case for him to be undefeated.

Hope he can pursuade Freitas for a return.

Exactly, the fight started very slow, first 2 rounds they were just squaring eachother up then a quick exchange in the 3rd slightly raised the tempo. Casa's movement and counter lefts were troubling Corrales & Corrales at times look disinterested just pawing the jab, definetly not the same fired up, ready for a war Corrales we are used to seeing. Good close win for Casamayor though.

I can't see him fighting above lightweight, personally.
