I'd really like to see Haye vs. Bell.
Probably one of the best matchups about now.

Course, Maccarinelli vs. Haye is also a fantastic prospect.

Mac is over rated I would prefer Haye Hobson because with styles making fights I think Hobson's classic style could cause haye trouble.

Mac would beat Haye. He can fight for 3 mins of 12 rounds, can dig and takes an okay shot. As long as he dosent get caught cold early he'd beat Haye. Unfortuanatly we'll never know as Haye will either loose to Bell or jump to heavy.

One thing is for sure,Mac v Haye would end in KO!

Haye wins IMO.Just a better boxer than Mac.Although,both have dodgy chins,so by no means a foregone conclusion.

As was said,don't think it will happen.
Enzo will take the WBO mandatory route for the next few years,whilst Haye seems to harbour greater ambitions.

When Mac fought hobson someone who realy fought 3 mins each round he should have lost, add to that Haye's punch and you have something worrying. Haye now uses his jab much better and I really expect big things its really a question as to weatehr he stays around long enough to woop Mac's wealsh arse

Haye's stoppage loss was down to his piss poor stamina, rather than a dodgy chin. I think he'd stop Maccarinelli, if he trains to fight 12 rounds.

He trains to fight 12 each time, he just doesn't train hard enough to keep any sort of pace up. He freely admited he trained for 12 against abdoul, his version of 12 is quiet different to other fighters version of 12.

Enzo cal will whip Macca into shape, no doubt.

Abdoul was little more than a public sparing session he is still developing and learnt how to jab. Rip off for the fans but not realy what he will look like in a bigger fight.

Question is can Haye beat Bell, Is he ready?
O'Neil Bell is quite tough an order he KO'd Mormeck who is no pushover.Maybe David Haye should have a few fights above ebu level,before stepping up?

Nobody Haye has faced so far will prepare him for Bell imo. Haye may have the advantage in speed, skills and probably power but he hasn't been properly pushed in any fight outside of the Thompson fight and we all know how he folded then.

I like Haye and geniuinly think he has the talent to do something on the world stage but I think he will suffer from the Hobson fight not coming off as he would definitely have been tested at a fast pace. You can't just say he can train for 12 rounds and be ok and unless Fragomeni can give him a tough fight I think he'll be way out of his depth in with Bell.

Bell's nothing special.

Mormeck was beating him clearly until he ran out of gas and Bell's just sitting on his titles waiting for a money fight, so I'm favouring Haye against him.

Bell is nothing special? Try the worlds best cruiserweight right now. And he's a tough bastard, Haye will need a lot more than 10 punches a round to beat him. Bell is far more durable than Carl Thompson.

But that could be like saying as long as Femi Fehintola hits with power or as long as Herbie Hide learns to take a shot or Scott Harrison fights on the back foot. Who is to say Haye can have stamina? And i'm sure we would all like it tested before he steps in with Bell to ground down the best in the division for a stoppage win

No doubt he'd beat Bell? Saying that is absolutely ridiculous. Haye is yet to prove he can win a tough fight, Bell is a far far harder test than 40+ Carl Thompson. Haye is yet to prove he can gut out a win in a tough fight, or fight 12 rounds at a decent pace. So how anyone could have no doubts he'd beat Bell is way beyond me. He has a chance but Bell would start a heavy favourite in most peoples eyes.

Bell gets outboxed by Brown and gets a gift decision and Rothman was winning until he was Ko'ed.

From the above it seems Haye certainly fancies the job against Bell. That fight would be something special and I make it 50-50. Also can't see it going late.

I wonder who did that worshipful interview with Haye for ITV. The ITV man says he can't understand the critisism Haye got for his last fight - where he threw 4 punches per round. Well I suppose we're lucky it wasn't 3 punches per round.
