Anyone know what time the weigh in is today?

It's been. Calzaghe hit the 12-stone limit bang on at the first time
of asking. Bika came in six ounces over the limit and needed 15 minutes to shed the excess.

Hobson wore lipstick!!!

Only nobbling. Made the last bit up.

For the first time in a long time I am getting right behind Calzaghe here... I guess the Lacy fight made a believer out of me! ;)

He'll need it, as this fight is a significant step up... Best opponent since Kabary Salem.

Should be a good fight, Calzaghe stretches this one out to look good or blows him away? Or will Bika pull an upset? Thoughts?

Calzaghe safely on points, but Bika will have his moments.

You can get 3/1 on Calzaghe by points at skybet, I think those are good odds.

On the documentary they weighed him this week in the gym, I think they said 12 stone 6 so he was pretty close this week.

I think this will be one of those 'WTF' nights in boxing, where a fighter has suddenly got old against an unknown quantity-turned-badass.

Bika by KO in shocker of the year. But my cover bet will be calzaghe points.

Cracking odds. I was asking around yesterday and was getting 6/4 13/8 ffs. 3/1 is verging on a rick I think, so I'm happily signing up and slapping some on. I did a double pts win yesterday with 5/4 Gammer on pts, but only 6/4 calzaghe pts.

I'm verging on agreeing with you though Riddick. I wouldn't personally go for the KO, but I could see a TD draw.

skybet are the same clowns who put calzaghe at 11/2 PTS against Salem. the oddsmaker is clearly some guy who equates 100% records with brutal film style knockouts. KNOCK HIM AWT!

The most annoying thing is I lost my username and password for skybet, and it had about £30 in there.

Bika had 4 attempts to make the weight! So much for being a middleweight.

He looks a tough fighter, not easily intimidated. But the usual fast start by Calzaghe should put him in his place for awhile....until Joe inevitably hurts his hand and boxes to a points win.

The odds have just gone down to 6/4 so someone must be checking this site

My prediction: Calzaghe wins 7-4-1 in rounds, in an exciting fight. Bika comes out of the fight with major respect, and becomes a) one of the exciting young contenders (among Bute, Andrade & A Green) and b) outdoes even Munyai as an import we want to come back to the UK.

Bika has a long hard jab, good awareness. Technically he has a chance of being competitive. Though Calzaghe's speed, experience & varietyt will be the decider.

I keep on saying this, but I do like the look of Bika. I think he has some quality that can be developed.

Calzaghe underperformed,should of stuck to boxing on the outside, toomuch pride and wanted to trade to impress, but a wins a win.
