Jackson Asiku back

Boxrec schedule has Asiku making another commonwealth defence in England, against Roy Rutherford, in December. Asiku has been mighty impressive in his fights over here, and I don't see Rutherford getting in his way to be honest.

DECEMBER? That's shocking. Asiku's people need to get him opponents of sufficient calibre. I know no one wants to fight him, but still.

This could be a kicking, Roy hasn't fought in ages and looked shot vs Corcoran.
A prime Rutherford vs Asiku would have been okay, as Roy was a good bit better than the McKeever's/Callaghan's of this world. But he is not.

Depends how well Roy trains and how much he wants it. I know Tom is covering the presser for BBN so we'll see what they both have to say

Asiku by stoppage. He has looked the business over here so far I don't see how Rutherford could beat him.

Our British fighters are scared of Asiku. They should be ashamed, ducking him. Jackson's never going to het a proper development this way. The Ozzies threw him in the deep end way too early, and now the Brits have gone in reverse. No one can deliver him an opponent of calibre.

If Harrison cant make the December date due to his troubles, Asiku against Cook would be a good replacement.

I agree. Cook v Asiku is a great matchup.
Asiku's probably already mixed it up at Cook's class, when he fought Hussein and St Clair. IMO he beat St Clair, in a cracker of a fight.

Yeah, I'm always hassling fight sellers/traders. I never let up until I've got something that they want. Figured I'd start afresh after buying off Mohammad Foley.
It's interesting. Asiku must've been in his 3rd year as a pro, not much more. & they put him in with Skinny Hussein. Hussein had challenged Pac & even knocked him down. & then Asiku's in there, barely losing a fight of the year brawl.
St Clair fight was even better, IMO Jackson was a bit unlucky.

Yeah I seen all those fights of asiku and he a tough kid and now he is world class at 126 and can win a title, I think the English guys won't no part of him any more after the crushing defeats he has put on them
